Staybridge Suites Plano - Legacy West Area

On the way to my first room I noticed that the carpet was dirty, especially in the elevator. Once I got to the room, the toilet was dirty. I went back to the front desk and got a 2nd room. When I took a shower the next morning, there were already body hairs in the shower. Ugh. Forget the COVID sanitizing, this place was just dirty and run down. It smelled like an old, college apartment. If I hadn't pre-paid (trusting the IHG brand), arrived late and needed to be .1 miles from that intersection, I'd have left.

We decided to stay over a night near DFW after the plane ride. This hotel is in a growing and thriving area with lots of entertainment directed at kids. Nebraska Furniture is right near as well. We enjoyed the stay and would stay again

Be very careful with this hotel. We were staying next door at the Sandman and legitimately parked in the parking lot. About 1030pm an employee of this hotel called a tow truck and subsequently was towed. When we addressed this with the staybridge in the morning they were flat out abusive. The Sandman on the other hand fully reimbursed a cost that was not there's and apologetic for the experience. Net net stay at the Sandman.

Loved they Staybridge concept with an on-suite kitchen, but also a full breakfast incl. Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, waffles, great coffee, eggs, sausage, all the rest... Friendly staff!
