Positive: I liked that the incentive hold fee was only $10. I also liked that you could walk and view lake behind hotel.Bed slept good. Negative: ALOT!!Towels were VERY dingy/dirty looking. Paint coming off ceiling above shower. Water did not drain from tub while showering so stood in tub of water that turned dirty.Mildew/mold on shower rod. Positive: I brought my Youth Soccer team to Holiday Inn North Dallas and the staff was so helpful for us. They made us feel welcome and appreciated us being there. Breakfast was so good. The breakfast staff kept things hot and fresh. Negative: Nothing.

Check-in was fine, the girl was informative but not friendly by any means. My room was not clean at all: crumbs all over the floor, gunk on the walls of the shower and the bathroom door, fingerprints all over the wall. The lid to the ice bucket was broken, minor gripe but just set the tone to the lack of attention to detail. There was a toothbrush left behind from whoever stayed in there last, party snap fireworks on the floor, plastic wrap around the fire sprinkler (I am guessing that is some sort of safety violation). The guy at the front desk explained all of that was from whoever stayed in the room before me (awesome, very helpful and comforting), gave me points on my account and put me in a new room. The room that I got moved to was perfectly fine, it was just annoying that it took a second try to get it right. Everything else was pretty good: the fitness center was clean and had enough equipment to get by, breakfast was good and there was plenty of parking every day. The area has good proximity to a grocery store, gas station and a good selection of different restaurants with a variety of food styles to choose from.
