Western Express needs to send out a memo to all their drivers not to sit on the fuel Island get few and get off of it other people need the fuel too
Primetime Expo
To all new DCL Driver my name is Patrick I once work for western express straight out of cdl school one of the worst mistakes I made to start my trucking career am writing this review to help new drivers so they won't make the same mistake I made I was told by western express that am going to work regional so Monday to Friday will be my work days and by Friday evening or Friday night I will be off so I can go home to my family and pay will be about $650 to $750 per week as a trainee so I decided to work for them the first week i started to work by Friday ask them when am going to go home its Friday and they told me i should stay in a hotel for weekend and my trainer will pick me up from there i told them no that's not what i signed up for so i ask my wife to pick me up in new jersey so the following week the same thing happens again was suppose to be off and am still working Saturday morning driving back form Ohio the pay check was $340 not 650 to 750 like I was told the second pay check 450 so I decided to quit they have this third party debt collector company run inquiry on my credit saying that I own them $2500 for not working for them for six months and they never provide a hotel for me during orientation i drive a hour have every day for four days with my own car I pay for my cdl school out of pocket to avoid situations like this they put it on my credit guys do your research western express not a good company to work for please don't make desperation make you make bad decisions like me please am asking all new cdl driving they're better company out there to start your career please

This Terminal was much better than what I had anticipated.
Coolie Gal
Does this company ever gives out Employee surveys to get a general idea of how their drivers feel?. This company is ridiculous they do not know how to communicate with their coworkers so everyone is on the same page. You will be sitting and waiting for a responds for hours only to be told something simple as yeah Monday we will get to it, but you have me sitting in the parking lot all day Friday. Then night team is a joke forget about having emergency they straight up told their driver they have to wait in the morning But walked in they are watching wrestling. HR is another Joke still can't get any type of medical card BUT you are being charged every week for Medicare you call email call email again and again and no one calls you back. Managements and cooperate staff needs to do better learn your team because this is not the way to keep drivers.Ps look at YouTube

I'm not answering for everyone but my driver manager answers all the time I am put on hold for a little bit but he at least answers
I didnt have to sign one til i decided to become a trainer..but it came with a sign on bonus of 2500..not much but better than zilch. The only complaint I may have is pay but that's everywhere as well..it IS a business..and like stated above most is what you're willing to do. I've never done NYC but have Brooklyn Staten and long islands.. They don't hassle you or ride your back if you got a good DM. Mine is amazing and totally in the know but the first 5 made me hate WSXI..but they have new trucks and a new way of doing things..been with then almost 2 he and have seen the changes myself...good luck!!
U need to call breakdown on tablet
The only way you can get the truck to stop is pay a mechanic to override the computer too stop the shut off!
Go on the western app, hit the drop down and then select key contacts. Payroll is a key contact, they should be able to answer your question.
92 dollars a day ON THE ROAD no orientation pay.
Just keep using the messenger app on phone. Find safe parking and wait. In the same boat.
No they have dry van too I work for western express now it low pay the highest I made was 681 I run non stop even on recaps if the truck runs I been broken down twice . But they won't fix the problems . They don't care about you or your family
They do it basic of what state you in
Facts
Yes I believe they do. They have recruiters at all the terminals.
People seem to talk about how bad things are but never talk about what they did to make it bad..
Please reach out to recruiting at 888-719-4170 Mon - Fri between the hours of 7am - 6pm CT.
Safety
No, you cannot have inverters installed on the trucks and no you cannot idle the truck unless it's below 32 or above 71. Tyrone is clueless.
They are not too bad depending on the DM you get. Some trucks are decent others are on their way out. Trailers are ok should be upgraded but serve the purpose at least for flatbed. Van's are upgraded every 5 - 7 yrs. As I said on the description it is what you make it here. It on how your attitude for things are.
I tried WSX had a big misunderstanding bout milage pay,was told something entirely different ###
It sounds good cause no one to go to Maine I know I dont
I was one of the lucky ones. I'm a rookie and I got a 2019 International
No dash cam. And this terminal is the equivalent to section 8
For the moat part they have 2016-2018. There are some 2019 in yhe fleat. The do not have cameras in the trucks They have both OTR and Regional. Great company to work for.
Don't do it come drive for knight
Scottish inn or red roof on airport rd in allentown
Yes training with them is good but they are a overall bad company
