I live here for a year and only moved because I got married! I definitely would have resigned my lease. They take very good care of the grounds and maintenance is incredible. I've rented for a long time and I have never had such fast and reliable maintenance. The front office experiences a LOT of turnover. Overall this has been one of the best places I have lived in in Indy. The apartments are very well kept except for the balcony. The siding on my balcony was absolutely disgusting, but nothing a little power wash wouldn't clean up. I would recommend this place and have to many people!

Recently they just lost many of peoples rent money and still went on to put eviction notices on more than 8 units and later found them, the parking is very limited by day you’ll be fine but by night good luck, when it’s warm out I hope you like spiders because they are everywhere like seriously around the doors in your house around the windows and they just keep coming there are also two surrounding neighborhoods that many pit bulls get loose and run to auburn they bark and chase you to your car from time to time they call animal control but by the time they come the dogs are gone making it a continuous problem. They watch all cars and know when your home yet they saw the car gone and I was home and the maintenance just walks in without notice There has recently been quite a few car break ins not sure how that’ll turn out but this is auburn hill and your better off somewhere else.

I moved in June 2018 with my boyfriend and we have had a great time. I loved having a downstairs apartment as taking my dogs out via the patio was super convenient. My dogs loved visiting the office staff to get treats and pets. We only moved as we both graduated and were looking for a house. I would recommend Auburn Hill Apartments to friends for sure!

pros: • close to downtown • close to walmart, lowe’s, and fast food options • nice community and good people • good maintenance team • decent apartments cons: • almost never any parking, although it has seemed to get a little better here …Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay here at Auburn Hill Apartments. In regards to your concerns: 1. Unfortunately, many residents fail use the voicemail system that we have provided. We have a busy office and we are unable to answer every phone call. If you leave a message, we will return your call promptly. 2. As for your carpet response we do not give any information relating costs of carpet replacements as that is unknown until your move-out date when the final walk through is completed. 3. As we mentioned in our wall color email responses to you the entire office staff has changed and the old shades were discontinued before the staff changed and we can only provide you with current colors that are similar to the old color. We did mention that you could take a sample to Menards, Lowe’s, or almost any other home improvement store you prefer that sells paint and they would be able to match it perfectly with your current wall colors. 4. As for your vertical blinds, charges occur when you have completely broken them and need them fully replaced—we can only go off of your completed inspection form turned in at move-in on whether they worked perfectly upon move-in. All residents are responsible for all damages as stated in your signed lease. And since we must follow fair housing you too are responsible for broken blinds you would like us to replace. We also give you the option of finding the best price online if you chose to replace them yourself as long as they are the same color as the ones provided originally. 5. We address all reported issues promptly. We notify residents who have reported that some residents are not properly picking up after their animal(s) that we do need a description of the individual and pet as there is absolutely no way, we can hold the resident responsible if we cannot determine who it is. We always send all residents a reminder notices regarding animal responsibilities. 6. As for the snow, the unprecedented amount we received in a 48-hour period this year meant the amount of snow could not be removed with a onetime plowing. Our Snow Removal company we hired came out multiple times to remove it as quickly and efficiently as possible. We informed our residents via text and email regarding the process of snow removal due to the amount of snow that nature decided we needed. 7. As the weather gets colder, periodically insects can make it into your apartment. If there are no live pests found anywhere, we can guarantee you do not have an infestation, but we do provided bi-weekly exterminator inspections/treatments free of charge to all residents as long as they contact us. This can also be done as a preventative measure for the resident’s piece of mind. 8. In regards to your electricity bill, keeping your thermostat set low or high depending on the weather outside has a huge effect on how frequently your system has to run to keep it at your set temperature. Our community is total electric which means that everything you use in your apartment will contribute to your electricity bill. 9. Unfortunately, we have no control over public traffic outside of our community and are unable to address that for our residents. We do however encourage our residents to inform us of speeding traffic in our community as our 24/7 on call courtesy officer is able to monitor our community when necessary. 10. As for your rent amount you may be confused as no resident at our community has incurred an increase of that amount at renewal. All residents must adhere to the time frame stated on official notices sent to their door to take advantage of any promotion that is being offered. In addition, all residents residing in a single apartment are required to pay the rent as we do not rent per bedroom. This means that if your roommate moves you do still have to pay the full cost of the apartment not just your half you had paid while having a roommate. Have a great day!
