Such a cute place to go on a self guided tour. Usually they have volunteers to be actors but they didnt have any this time. There was a wedding that was being set up when we were there and it was very pretty, definitely would look into as a venue for my own wedding. They have civil war reenactments that start in Novemeber of this year so Im definitely going back then to see it. If youre looking to get senior citizen discounts, they consider you a senior at age 62 or over so youll have to pay the adult fee of $12 if youre younger than that. Included pictures are the school house and the gallows. The only building you can go inside once you are in the village is the bank, which is really cool inside and has small pamphlets you can read to learn about the history.

So fun but hot . I love all the character of the old buildings . And the history . Bring lots of water.

It's amazing to see all the history! A great place to take my residents from Memory Care.

Made a reservation for a wedding date and gave a deposit. The pandemic hit and they weren't open which is understandable but we still had our wedding at home. Didn't need the reservation anymore and they said they could refund our deposit. It's been over 2 years and still haven't gotten the refund. If you're not going to refund it then just say it. Horrible communication.

I didn't see any when we were there but it's all open so I don't see why they wouldn't allow it
Not sure, I would give them a call
Yes, but it's open now
Visit their website for the correct prices
No, John Wayne is an actor and this is not a movie set. This is a recreation of a western town during the Arizona territorial days.
I would say half is outside or outside with a cover. You will definitely be in the heat if you want to see all the sights. Go in the am, they open at 7am.
Yes That's correct
Check web site
Call the phone number
The best way is to call. During the summer they close around 11 am due to the heat.
We currently don't have any horses here but we're working on that for the future
This is genuine history. They have a very small budget and could use some donations yo help try to preserve the building there. Don't get upset you couldn't go in some, it was most likely for your safety. I've been going there for over 40 years and yes the buildings get older too. If you are into history, it's definitely worth the very small admission price.
There are none on the property... Carefree Highway or Anthem Way!
No (not that I know) , but you can fly to Phoenix, AZ and rent a car.
