Aside from being clean, having good food, and positioned in a great location; the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Truly exceptional customer service from check in to check out. Shout out to Rob for being a rockstar employee. You’re all lucky to have him!

The only thing nice about this place is the Penthouse. The AM staff are rude and have no customer service experience. The breakfast was cold & old. They didn't know how to give directions. The halls smelled of puke and beer from college kids. We was there to see Slipknot. Do not bring a family here. Thomas Walsh, and Shiny knight was right.

This hotel is a disgrace. The management could not provide adequate directions. The hallways smell of urine, and the carpets are stained. I asked them to allow me to pay cash; instead, they charged my credit card and refused to change it. The evening clerk knew I wanted to pay cash; he obviously lied when he said he told the day clerk. The day clerk was an absolute disaster job that did not care about anything other than look at her phone. She just typed away like I wasn't there. I asked her to ad my aids name to the portfolio to show he was a guest as well. She chose not to. This leads to safety concerns as you can't file a police report if someone robs you. I say this because they allowed a lot of very drink and very loud college kids to raise cane all night, keeping us awake. If you want a nicer, more respectful place to stay, the Hilton is right across the road and has better service. I would advise Noone to stay at Marriott Des Moines, Iowa. Marriott really needs to step up and take responsibility, as I hold them accountable for letting their front desk clerk for her actions. If you want to be treated rudely and lied to, The Marriott Des Moines, Iowa will not let you down.

Traveled the world --and no place or organization is less helpful in reserving a room ---Association meeting is at this location , but will never stay again!! Not one to complain either! Associate Zach placed us on hold for 30 + minutes---we finally hung up !!! and told us he did not have the fax number for the location and we were to go online to book a room --which we had already attempted but they told us to call direct --it being an assiociation block of rooms This is the second time in my life I have filled out a poor evaluation --the other at a restaurant that we waited 20 min and had no staff come to our table -so left

Valet is 24 dollars. There is a ramp at 9th and locust that costs a dollar an hour with a 10 dollar maximum for 24 hours. The ramp is free after a certain hour during the weeknights and on the weekends.
They have valet and street parking...
Call the desk and they should be able to help you cancelled it. Shouldn't be a problem.
We were there a couple weeks ago and besides a few construction people riding the elevators, i never would have known
No microwave, has mini fridge and single serve coffee maker.
I am not sure but they have indoor pool and workout room
