Old dirty rundown dump. Good luck getting someone at the front desk to come out to help you too. What a joke of a hotel. Marriott should cut this place loose.

Great location with walking access downtown restaurants, clubs and bars. We were a little concerned with proximity to train tracks but were assured trains are both infrequent and NOT in the middle of the night. Parking available ($) in adjacent garage, free breakfast.

This Residence Inn has not been maintained very well. Stayed here years ago & we remember it being very nice then. Stains all over the hallway carpet on 5th floor, tv did not even power on in room, broken curtain pull rod in room, shower head needed to be replaced, broken paper towel holder in kitchen. However, the morning breakfast was very good, and the location of this Residence Inn is perfect - close to many destinations downtown. Hopefully the maintenance at this property can be improved & brought back to standards that we remember.

I thought the room was outstanding, convenient to dining and entertainment, parking was convenient, and the staff were great. The only thing I had a problem with was the air conditioning in the rooms I had. I was able to set the thermostat to 65, but it was as if the furnace filters were clogged because there was no airflow at all coming out of the ceiling vents. It was a 110 heat index day and I was hoping to enjoy cooling off after a shower when I arrived after work and before I went to the Cubs game. It was hot in my opinion. The gentleman at the front desk did offer to switch rooms to the neighboring room, although the AC there wasn't much better . I was in a crunch for time so I just lived with it for the night. Honestly though aside from the air conditioning issue the place was very nice and I would stay there again; maybe just when it is a little cooler outside.
