Hotel was excellent. Bar was great. Service was awesome at check-in. Parking is limited in basement and outside that the hotel owns. Had a pizza from the kitchen and we were disappointed. Although I was told that the other food was very good. I would definitely go back again

Really great hotel. The front desk guy, Andrew was helpful. The bartender made good recommendations. The staff (Ami and Abuk) who cleaned the pool glass was very conscientious. Server Kennesha in the restaurant is very good at her job!

The stay was okay but we forgot a 2-3 dresses in the closet when we checked out. We remembered about them less than 6 hours after we had checked out. So we called and they told us “security” would check for them. We drove back only for them to have no idea where the dresses went and no cares to give about helping us… We had just checked out 6 hours earlier and the dresses were stolen in that amount of time. DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL, very very disappointed in the way they handled our situation. Will never be back

We just had a small meeting/event at this facility and we couldn’t have been happier. The facility is very nice and my room was awesome. However, the staff was the best…hats off to all of them! Sophie, Erin, Zack, Lex, Andy, Lucas, Michelle, Ann, Bob (at the bar) and the two shuttle drivers (sorry I didn’t get your names, but enjoyed our conversation). You guys all made being there memorable and successful! SGI ;-)

Yes, the hotel has 2 shuttles that offer complimentary shuttle service to/from the airport and within a 2 mile radius of the hotel, based on availability.
Bags and the coffee maker is VERY clean. Everything you'd expect from a professional hotel.
Breakfast is offered at our onsite restaurant every morning from 6:30 am - 11:00 am for purchase. In room dining is also offered from 6:00 am - 11:00 am and charged to the room.
It's 3pm but if rooms are ready sooner they will check you in early.i was able to get in about 1:30 PM the lobby area is very nice if you need to wait to check in
The onsite is valet. There's also a public garage a block south off of fifth Street and it's connected by the skywalk.
As of last November (2018), yes they have laundry services. It's the usual Hilton laundry bag + services menu clipped to a hanger in the closet.

Hilton Des Moines Downtown is located next door to the Iowa Events Center and is directly connected by a skywalk. There is no need for a shuttle to the center, though we do have complimentary shuttle service. Guestroom pricing is stated per night.
