Wonderful combination of artificial designed park and wildlife. We saw the blue headed heron, two!

Whether is a rainy or sunny day Albertsons Park is a must visit. Park is well maintained with paths that loop from a small walk to a nice long stroll. There is a restroom farther into the park and another at the parking lot. Beautiful water features and lots of animals to enjoy. Watch the water, there are fish and turtles for the whole family to spot and enjoy. There are pavillions to rent through the city for events as well. This Park is a must visit for sure. Only feedback for anyone coming to visit, this would not be the first Park to choose to bring you furry friends. The wild life there is excellent to watch from a distance, but watching dogs disturb them is never fun for anyone. I would suggest leaving them behind or choosing another one of the many parks in the area to visit.

What a beautiful park, yet so close...it's literally right in the middle of the city!!

I read the park rules today and walked my dogs there on leashes and met several others there doing the same thing, so I think it's okay.

Right now the fountain is drained I don't know what will happen to it. But the ponds aren't filled yet either. You could call Boise Parks and Recreation to get details.

Can you barbeque here?
