We tried paddle boating and it was my first time. It is located within Julia Davis Park past the zoo. It was hot to go today, July 29th, at 11am. The seats not that comfortable and if you have long legs, do not pick seat to left, otherwise, have to bend right knee certain way because of metal steering wheel "not comfortable". The guy was nice and helped to keep boat steady to get off and on. I recommend if go time of year when we did pocket fan and water. The scenery was beautiful and we saw quite a few ducks. Overall, we had alot of fun.

Fun, affordable family activity! Make sure to bring some bird seed for the ducks!

They are not. I just visited a few weeks ago, and they were closed. They are seasonal, open in the summer.

No. As long as you know how to ride a bike.

How much are paddle board rentals?

Last year it was 15 for a half hour or 20 for an hour. You can make the circuit from the dock, around the pond perimeter (or middle of the pond) and back in a half hour easy. If you're spending an hour, then you're probably taking pics of the water fowl who constantly swim in your path. Scenery is limited to the park and the surrounding downtown area. For couples and kids, I say go for it. :)
