We stayed here to visit family and friends in Des Moines, Indianola and Chariton area. It is centrally located and very quiet and peaceful. We loved the rural setting with 2 ponds and the beautiful night sky and sounds. The hookups are great and the service is wonderful. You can’t beat the price! Truly a gem in a gorgeous rustic setting!

This place is so great plenty of space, clean an fresh shower house, banquet room, ponds are full of fish , beautiful scenery, dog an golf cart friendly an horses if you have one 15 miles of riding trails or you can hike the trails too. Play ground equipment for kids . Grounds are well kept an groomed. Come meet new friends and have a great time doing it.

Memorial weekend and we had reservations at Red Haw State Park that turned out to be a bust. Called Rob to see if he had spots for 3 campers and he was able to accommodate! Wonderful campground even if you aren't a horse person. Owner (Rob) was amazing and so friendly. I would highly recommend this campground!!!

The owners here were super nice and friendly. And their bath houses, OMG SO PRETTY AND CLEAN!! The women’s bathroom has a beauty bar where I could put on my makeup, that was awesome. I don’t have much else to say, I only stayed one night but I would definitely stay again if I’m in the area. 10/10 would camp again!
