Looking for a seasonal campground with winter storage and lake access with pet yard. Left a note and the management responded quickly and politely with a written response.

I have gone here for a weekend each summer for the past several years and have always had a pleasant time. Beautiful scenery and peaceful environment. I will be back with my family again next year.

I have visited several times as my parents are seasonal campers. They invested a lot of money in a beautiful play structure for the playground. Unfortunately, children are often found there unsupervised and they are typically not behaving well. I have seen kids using inappropriate gestures and language, climbing onto the roof of the play structure where if they ever fell they could very well be paralyzed. I find myself parenting other kids more than playing with my own. Parents seem far more interested with their own socialization and drinking to watch their kids. The camp hosts many events for entertainment, but you are guaranteed to find beer cans and red solo camps littered all over the next day. Many campers stay up late drinking and they tend to get loud and use profanity. However, I will say the people are extremely friendly and if you are looking for a place to have a good time and unwind then this is perfect. If you are looking for a place to bring your children, I would not recommend at all. It is all gravel and mostly hills so riding bikes is not ideal. Most of the time there is no beach because the water is too high and again there are a lot of unsupervised kids who in my opinion are disrespectful and a lot of drinking going on

I have been a part of seasonal RV camping around The Great Sacandaga Lake my entire life. This campground was by far the WORST experience I have ever had on the Lake. My husband and I figured we'd try seasonal camping again due to the Covid restrictions...we happened upon this campground in the spring and figured we'd try it out for the season. Management seemed nice enough. Wrong decision. First, the new sites are up a hill with a 30 percent grade (don't even try without a gold cart). Tiny sites for $3000 plus (not including a dock, your electric and wifi if you actually end up with it) for the season, not even close to being worth it. There was an abundant amount of miscommunication between owners and management right from the start. Management said one thing and then the owners turn around and said and did another. Be weary, the "deposit" does NOT come off of your annual fee. There's no beach, the docks don't seem to have safe walking platforms and if you want to hang AND sunbathe you're sitting on carpet covered docks. We were promised spectrum wifi within 2 weeks of opening day, THIS CAMPGROUND HAS NO PHONE SERVICE WITHOUT WIFI. Low and behold when we spoke to management, once again, about the lack of wifi, it was all spectrums fault and the owners took zero responsibility. All while campers were calling spectrum to see what we could do to expedite the process and it turned out spectrum didn't even have a work order to run lines. Bottom line, promised wifi, so we paid the lot fee, ended up not using the site because wifi didn't show up until the end of August. We pulled the camper out Waste of money, rude management and ownership, and by the time your season is over you'll be paying well over $4,000 not including a dock or a nice sandy beach. We were happy to leave and don't plan on looking back.
