It is always better to schedule an appointment, but walk-ins are normally accepted outside of peak times. It is easier to get a walk-in appointment at their Wasatch (Provo) site, but their main Provo site can accept walk-ins as well.
The description says that mental, which is very broad, the psychiatrist is a doctor who according to the evaluations decides if the problem is a chemical imbalance and medication is needed to control the mental state, and when the psychologist or social worker does not they can solve the problem, so they refer him to the psychiatrist, who will do more in depth studies and make the decision
