I Moved my daughter into this apartment complex today. The room was filthy. Floors had not even been vacuumed in her room! The furnace filter was packed with dark gray yuck. Ceilings in the bathrooms had mold. There is a hole in her closet that goes up into the rafters. Lights didn’t all work. The carpet tac strip going into her room and the room next to hers is exposed. Nails are protruding out of the ceiling. When I plugged a vacuum in the outlet sparked on three different occasions. When we contacted her room supervisor, RA, he said he would send some one to clean the room. We spent the entire day cleaning her room and I still feel it is dirty. No one came to clean the apartment as of 9:40 pm. The return air ducts had visible mold through the grates. The beds had gunk and toenail clippings on the frame. One wall had globs of phlegm dried onto it in more than 6 places. No quality control obvious in this complex. When I complained to the office they sent us on a wild goose chase. They gave us a phone number. When we were able to reach a person, he said he couldn’t help us; we needed to submit a facilities request. When we went to the web address he gave us we filled out the form and it would not let us submit it. We tried this multiple times each time it would not go thru. We tried to contact the RA multiple times throughout the day and after the initial call my daughter made he never answered again. I am so concerned that my daughter and 5 other girls are moving down to school with little to no care or help from their apartment/dorm management. I am also concerned about the mold spores that they will inevitably be breathing in! Wow, I though BYU on campus housing was going to be better than this. When I went to the office earlier in the day. I got apologies and excuses. They gave us a vacuum to use that did a lousy job. When I returned the vacuum to the office at approximately 9:30 there were 4 staff members sitting at a table hanging out.

This place is so trash. The glory days at the riv ended 2018ish. Would not live here again.

The wards at the Riviera are very friendly and fun, the social life is so fun, especially during the summer with the volleyball courts, the pools, and the outdoor space between the back apartments. I've lived here for two years and am only moving for the change of scenery. These apartments are great!

Shared an apartment here for four years sewage backed up logs saltier than the Salton sea for post mostly made up but here I was in on the first floor.
