It’s a beautiful quaint building from the past when women wore long dresses, hats& bloomers. Photos of celebrities line the walls . Wooden floors, pianos, beautiful staircases, wraparound porches,& more. Big golf lawn, good food & entertainment.

I have been coming to Shawnee since the 80s, but this was my first time dining at the Inn. We came on a Thursday night before Labor Day weekend and it was pretty quiet, very few guests. We had dinner on the porch at the Inn, which has an incredible view, especially at sunset. The service staff were great and the food came relatively quick, but the food was disappointing - everyone in my party agreed the food was underseasoned, and the bread was stale. The Inn itself could use some love - the porch was covered in cobwebs and there was a leaking ceiling right off the lobby with several buckets placed underneath to catch the water. Doesn't give guests much confidence in the maintenance of the place. Would love to see this place restored to its former glory and celebrate it's long history.

Absolutely beautiful property! Extremely well maintained - always. Friendly & helpful staff. Great river access as well as a nice indoor pool. You’ll see everything from fish jumping, to bald eagles, to maybe even bears! Fantastic place with history to boot! Golfer Arnold Palmer met his wife here!

Any paid activities (axe throwing, river trips, brewery tours, yoga) are open to the public. Guided Hikes, Archery, campfire and s'mores, golf cart tours are activities that are just for guests unless you contact our recreation team and pay the fee for that particular activity.
You do not need to be an overnight guest to enjoy any of our dining outlets. We do recommend calling for reservations though for The Gem and Keystone or River Room Restaurant. The brewery and cafe do not need reservations.

Yes sir! It's one of the most popular packages they offer. I would call their friendly reservations staff to book. Also, be sure to check out the Shawnee Craft beer that they brew on site and the awesome bald eagles nest in the middle of the golf course island 😍👌

The restaurant is known as 'The River Room' is open for: Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, and evening cocktails.
