Marlin Bay Resort & Marina

We booked the resort home for the 4th of July we stayed for 1 week. Our house was one of there bigger homes. 4 bedroom all of the rooms had a full bathroom. Super convenient. I loved the coffee drink station of the 3rd floor. So much space in door and out. The small pool on the bottom floor was nice. I wish I’d had movement like a hot tub but cold. A bathroom on that bottom floor would have been great. The elevator was great to take up groceries to the second floor. The elevator was small and dark and hot but functional. Make sure all doors are closed or it won’t work. The kitchen had almost everything a hand mixer, blender,knifes, dish soap, hand, trash compactor ours was broken. towels. The cold drink fridge/wine cooler was super handy. The cleanliness was spot on. The decor was so tasteful. The access for the doc was so convenient and lovely to see from almost every window. The garage and the freezers were also very convenient and comfortable. So many towels. Also the big pool and the bar and games were so nice. The kids enjoyed the game room. I did visit the gym a few times it was small but seemed to have it all. Oh we watched the fireworks from the light house. Perfect. Only one complaint the house needs more T.V. In every room or at least in both seating areas.

My husband and I stayed on our boat in the inner harbor for more than a month. This is the most well-managed marina on the Great Loop. The facilities and amenities were like new; sparkling clean. Barbecues were cleaned daily. The gym and the shower were available from 8am to 6pm daily and the restrooms by the pool were open all the time. Again, spotless. Pool bar served up refreshing drinks from 1pm to 7pm. There are two air-conditioned lounge areas, one in the club house and another in the marina office. The pool. Marlin Bay has THE most amazing pool in the Florida Keys. There’s shallow water for the kiddies to play in and there’s at least 115 feet of lap swimming available. Absolutely loved doing laps every morning in the crystal clear, palm-tree-lined pool. The chaise lounges have plush cushions that are beyond comfortable. Best I’ve ever seen and so well-maintained. I can’t thank General Manager Claudine, and Maintenance Manager Buffalo enough for making Marlin Bay such a wonderful place to stay. We’ll never forget our stay. Teresa Green Eyes the Nordic Tug
