Always my top choice when I’m in the Keys. Excellent staff, very friendly which is rare. I’ve stayed a few times and enjoyed it every time. Had a couple of little billing issues but they fixed them right away, no problem. Just a really great place to stay in my opinion. Wish I had more time there.

I went to the island for work but I found a clean, beautiful, safe place, quality customer service, a place where I could go a thousand times with my family, my children had a great time, work became a mini vacation!!! we arrived home very happy

Key weather is typically hot and humid most of the day, unless there's a front you can expect scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon. Most showers pass by relatively fast cause of the ocean breeze.
Food and drinks are not cheap at the resort. There is a convenience store right in front of the hotel with decent prices on food/drinks

It's been renovated now. It will be reopened on March 30th. The beach is not good for swimming.
That's a negative on kosher food I believe. What a wonderful place! I Spent 7 nights there and had a fabulous time there!
from Florida City to Cheeca Lodge is 45 miles, but the pace of traffic will require 1 hr 15 min without traffic. try to leave by 3:30pm to avoid evening congestion. Can be slower on weekends too
