Unfortunately my pair of prescription ray-ban have seen better days, and after my normal glasses place couldn't help, Custom Eyes came up as a place that might be able to help with the repair. Went to the shop yesterday evening and was warmly greeted by the owner and his assistant. I explained the issues, probable broken spring in the arm hinge and a lens that had popped out the day before. The owner was very knowledgeable about what could be done (unfortunately nothing for the arm) and he took a couple mins to pop the lens back into place. He even took a min to point out where the hinge screws were starting to corrode. And the best part, when I asked him how much for the repair job, he waived me off and said no charge. Was really nice to get such warm and friendly service somewhere that I'd never been before and wasn't going to immediately buy something from. So kudo's to Custom Eyes and will definitely keep them in mind when I need a new pair of glasses.
