My visit was quick and efficient. My physician was friendly and knowledgeable. I was in and out with a fast diagnosis and care plan. Great facility

I needed non-emergency medical care when I visiting from out of town. I went to Physicians Immediate Care based on their proximity to my location and positive on-line reviews. Parking was convenient. The facility was clean and well-maintained. I was greeted immediately upon arrival, and was provided a link to my cell phone for easy registration. Soon after, a pleasant and efficient assistant showed me to an examination room, took my vitals, and gave clear instructions for the next step. Once the assistant had completed preliminary procedures, I was seen by a very personable physician’s assistant. She understood my concerns immediately, conducted an examination, assessed my needs, and was able to send a prescription to a local pharmacy. The entire process at PIC took about 60 minutes, and it was a great comfort to be attended by staff who were personable and clearly skilled at their jobs. I highly recommend this location to anyone in need of urgent care - knowing that this resource is available will be a positive factor when making travel plans that take me away from my regular physicians.

Doc was actually very good but he was the only one working so the wait was over an hour even though it didn’t seem busy…just be aware the wait can be longer than you think. The time on the monitor seemed to reflect the time you were in the front waiting room vs total waiting time. Part of that time we were in a patient room and at one point I opened the door because it’s a small room, they had the blinds closed and we just started to go a little stir crazy. A nurse(?) told us that the door needed to stay closed as a matter of privacy and promptly closed it. She was a bit rude and I wondered Who’s privacy? Ours? The others in patient rooms with their doors closed? The person in the front waiting room that we’d left? 🤷🏼♀️ All in all… receptionist was efficient and pleasant; doc was thorough, polite and my kiddo is on the mend but bring a book for the wait.

Arrived at 7:45pm, doors were locked, no one at the front desk. Knocked on the front door until the girl I assume was supposed to be at the front desk came out from a back room to tell us they closed at 8pm, turned right around, and returned to the back room...all while my 3 year old is crying in pain and puking on the sidewalk. Unreal.

Thank you for your inquiry. Self-pay private DOT exams are $100.
Thank you for your question. For patients without insurance or those patients with high deductibles who may choose not to submit their claim, a consultation with a physical exam is $165 in Illinois. For patients with insurance, we accept most major health insurance plans and can bill the insurance companies directly. Please check with your insurance carrier on what your co-pay would be and any out-of-pocket costs.
Our sports physicals are currently $49, subject to change.
We offer self-pay pricing options that must be paid upfront (we accept cash, credit cards, HSA cards, checks.) We will also submit to your insurance and request your co-payment at the time of service. Thank you.
We currently accept Illinicare and we are working to accept other state medical plans. Please visit our website at https://physiciansimmediatecare.com/insurance for insurance information and our self-pay pricing. Thank you!
We have a small lot that offers free parking for patients. Please be mindful of the signs that indicate which spaces are for Physicians Immediate Care.
