I want to thank the Hampton Inn at DesMoines Airport! One week before my daughter’s wedding another hotel in area cancelled the promised shuttle service for our wedding guests, so we needed new accommodations. Hampton Inn accommodated our wedding guests with great rooms, a group rate, and shuttled them to and from the venue! Can’t thank them enough for going the extra mile for our guests and on short notice! This Hampton Inn’s staff is top notch!

Upon entering our room we were hit with a dirty, musty smell. I knew immediately it was the carpets not being cleaned in quite some time. We could definitely feel the dirty dampness on our feet, so we had to put shoes on everything we got out of bed. We didn't realize how bad it was until we spilled water on the carpet and wiped it up. After a couple of dabs and wipes, the towel was completely dirty. It's one thing to feel the gross carpet, but it was another to see it physically brought to reality. I cannot commend hotels who don't put attention into the floors you have to walk on to get around the place.

I am a Hilton honor member. I have one main complaint to every Hilton location. For breakfast they keep all meet, and some other items in the same container even though the container is partition but when the lid is closed the steam is mixed with other food In it. I am on a restricted diet and whenever I stay in Hilton I am unable to consume any hot breakfast from the hotel and end up eating out elsewhere. This hotel is ok. Rooms are small and hotel is old as mentioned by few others. If someone else uses the water the noise is too loud. Staff is very friendly and welcoming though.

If landing, after you've picked up your bags. When taking off, when you know you need it. Usually they are on a every half hour schedule.
They do have park and fly but I'm not sure about the charge. It might be $25 we did it in July
Johnnys Italian Steakhouse just south of airport. Just north of Hampton Inn is Panera, Skips and a number of ethnic eateries.
Yes, but call & see if there's a time limit. There is a nominal charge as well. I have done tjis twice & it's very convenient!
