I had one of the BEST Pastrami Melts, ever. AND one of the BEST slaws ever. And I am picky. When was the last time that you ate food that was truly tasty? What I enjoyed the most was that the meat was flavorful by itself before addition of condiments; compare that to “fast food” in which you only taste the condiments. My recommendation is for you to find this restaurant and become a Regular. UPDATE 08Sep2021– It was a warm and breezy afternoon when I ordered the Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken. This was presented on a generously mounded salad with the chicken nicely sliced in chew-ably sized pieces atop FRESH salad makings. These were Organic salad-making. Often organic veggies are LESS tasty; NOT the case today! I could actually taste the delicate flavor of the chopped lettuce; when was the last time that you tasted lettuce!? That and the other Greek Salad makings, i.e., bell peppers, onion, tomato pieces, oregano, etc., they were each distinctively tasty. This was not a generic salad and will be worth going out of your way to have a TASTY SALAD. That’s it. Franc’s Flapjack Family Restaurant is a wonderful Breakfast & Lunch venue with flavorful dishes. The special blueberry short stack was delicious although it was the biggest pancakes I ever ate. The coffee was hot but the weather got so hot that I had to get iced water to regulate my body temperature. Customer service is excellent by the manager, Sydney. She is a sweetheart😘

Looked for a diner type breakfast place and found this little gem. I got eggs benedict. Perfectly poached eggs! Fabulous gravy for the biscuits . So good, my family and I went back the very next morning to try other stuff. Attentive staff and affordable food. Will show off to out of town guests with this place for breakfast again.

My family and I have been coming here for years. We love the family, neighborhood ambiance and of course the quality of the food. My wife always gets the frittata, I'm a huge green omelette fan. The size of the coffee mugs is excellent as is the service. Always friendly and efficient young people. Plenty of parking and conveniently located, this is a Poway gem!!!
