I went asking for help verifying my headlight worked and to fax Jesup police department a quick sentence saying it does. Their response “We’re not gonna do all that” . Make me drive 40 minutes to Jesup when they could have walked outside, seen it works and sent a quick fax. LAZINESS at its finest. So much for helping the public.

Don’t bother calling to ask questions or to speak to someone about a police officer riding my tail for almost two miles just to run my tags for no apparent reason. Hinesville is a joke and so are the police here.

Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. They do sit outside the Fort Stewart gates targeting military, I'd imagine this is one of their big money makers. I've dealt with officers who are very helpful and officers that don't know the law. If you don't understand what you're speaking on you should contact your supervisor instead of just making stuff up. Most of the officers have been very friendly. One of the civilians that works at the PD is very rude, and evidently a military expert in her own mind.

Be extra careful on the 30th each month. They are desperate to get out tickets, so you’ll get fined for ridiculous “infractions.”
