Friday May 14 morning went to Starr post office, to overnight small box to Washington. It was very much needed blood pressure meds for husband. The woman behind counter seemed a little baffled by overnight request, she said she couldn't find "the right"something, then proceeded to weigh and put labels on box. I asked her twice during this, if box would indeed make it to Washington overnight, as it contained needed meds for recipient. She assured me it was definitely being over nighted. Spent almost 40.00 for overnight service, which NEVER happened. Husband did not receive box. Monday I went back to Starr p.o. to find out what was going on. I did get full refund back, after we found out the box was in Greenville p.o.! Today is Thursday May 20, and the tracking shows box is just now in Washington, hopefully it gets to husband today. Absolutely no excuse for this shoddy service from a Post office! If the woman couldn't find the correct stuff she needed to overnight the box, she could've told me Sorry, you need to go to another PO to overnight. I would have gladly done that. Will be driving a little further from now on to use another p.o.

I went there today 09/12/20 to drop off some packages to mail and accidentally dropped a fedex package in the drop box, wasn’t thinking at the time; had my only sons cancer on my mind. Received a message from Johnny Taylor of what I did. I turned around went back to the post office and kept on calling with no answer, went inside called inside, and again no answer. I can’t pick up my package on the times listed on the website due to when I leave work to go to the post office it will be closed. I’m out of town so weekends will not work (seeing my son). I rated a one because I was there, and could of had my fedex package given to me today. I then went inside the post office call number and listen to the phone ring without an answer. I WILL Never go to this post office again!! I have a hard time understanding the logic when someone calls you and you put forth the effort to correct your mistake (meaning turning around and going back to the post office same day) you do not acknowledge or respond.

I went to the Iva post office and they were very frustrating when I tried to get them to tape up a package to return, so I then went to Starr and the man was so much nicer and he helped enormously.
