The room was clean. The fridge was in working order. So was the shower. Not 5 stars because 1)it took close to 10 minutes to get someone to come to the front desk. Although it WAS after midnight, I called in advance and confirmed that fact. When we called on the internal phone as directed at the front desk, nobody answered the phone or responded and I was not sure how to proceed with young children in toe. 2) when I originally made a reservation, no email was sent to me to confirm the reservation; moreover, when I called 2 days prior to confirm - they didn't see my name, didn't have my reservation and made a new one (without collecting my credit card info, etc). When we arrived, they pulled up the original one. Bottom line it was a bit messy.

We checked in really on late at 2 AM. They got us in quickly and we were able to get to sleep. The room was clean and comfortable, though there were no towels. There is also no elevator, which sucked bringing our suitcases in. Still, a good value

Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here. I am not sure how they are even still in business. This was the worst room ever. We were there for about five seconds and left. There was a strong weird odor in the room, the whole front panel of ac/heat unit was off, no fabric on the chair, lamp shade was stained like you’ve never seen before, door to get in the building where the rooms are was unlocked, bathroom filthy. Asked for a refund and so far manager has refused. I will be reporting this to BBB as this is just not right. I know the manager would not stay here himself or let any of his family stay in these conditions. You’d be better off staying outside under a tree in the middle of a storm than staying here!!! I wish I could leave a negative star rating. Absolutely horrible conditions here!!!!

It’s all the he little things that make a hotel stay good or bad. For this hotel there are just too many little things that add up to an overall bad stay. Right off the bat, there is an unadvertised mandatory $100 deposit that is charged to your card and doesn’t get refunded immediately. It takes at least 10 days to get that money back so if you use a debit card, that’s real money out of your pocket. Going down the hall, the smell of cigarette smoke is overwhelming. Although my room was a nonsmoking room, there was a distinct pot odor meeting me as I opened the door. The little things gone wrong continues to pile up in the room. There is a gap above the ac unit plugged by a folded rug that tries to stop the outside air, a table that is unstable and rocks side to side as I type on my laptop and a towel rack barely hanging on the wall by 2 screws instead of 4. I will be telling them about these things so I won’t lose my deposit. I’m sure I’ll find more if I continue to stay here, however I may just leave before they have a chance to disappoint me mor.
