My daughter saw Grace C. and Dr. Wadsworth for her testing and diagnostic process. It could not have gone any better. They were so patient, so thorough, and so professional, but also very personable. They have equipped our family with so much knowledge and many wonderful tools, so that we can move forward and create a really bright future for my little girl. I highly, highly, highly recommend Silver Linings!

The office cancelled two appointments in a 6 month period, causing months of further delays in an already long process-up to a year. and they don’t answer phone calls. Payment is made before appointment is schedule as “deposit”. Appointment and testing takes up to a year, and no in office Sevices offered (besides speech therapy). When acquiring what specific testing would be done for my child by the physican to make decisions if repeat testing would be warranted, and what specified education testing would be completed by the MD, I was told that information could not be provided as parents “historically google testing which skews results.” Also upwards of $1000 or more for testing that they will only submit to insurance once, then it’s the patients responsibility. Non updated tele visit policies, no billing option online. We waited 3 months for a printed speech eval report. As far as the clinicians! They were fantastic. Our speech and language evaluator, and the MDs seem very knowledgeable, and friendly when addressed directly at initial appointments with questions or concerns. Outpatient referral request provided for specific treatment when asked.

Edit: Regarding the reply, I will admit I may have misunderstood about the non-refundable payments, however I believe some clarification is warranted. I have the letter regarding payment plans with, “a monthly fee falling between $261.85 - $58.19.” If this is not a fee, your office needs to work on communicating with patients. Another line reads, “Keeping a working card on file for auto draft prevents the interest fee,” which I also called to inquire about these billing practices after this letter. Again, the psychologist was wonderful. She may need more friendly and helpful staff. For the sake of transparency, I again was met with Breanna’s rude service, and I quickly asked for who I believe is the billing manager. Again, she was able to help me. I likely gave up asking questions at that point. All of my negative experience could have been avoided by the staff providing professional communication and willingness to work with people. Original review: They love thier fees, but can't explain them. There is a $75 "adminastrative fee", which no one can explain. Brianna, who I assume is a front desk employee, is utterly rude. I had questions about all the charges before the inital visit, which she only told me were fees per thier policy. I asked her to forgive my ignorance regarding the verbage used, and to explain what the fees were for. Over and over she sighed and expressed how annoyed she was with my questions all the while repeating with no new information. I appologized again for not understanding and asked if I could speak to anyone else. I got a manager, who didn't provide much information, but was so much kinder. This was a very hard time trying to help my son, all the while being so overwhelmed and confused by such an expensive process. I would not want to make a patient feel this way about the office I work for seeing that at times work flow from the front desk backs up to our back offices. The up front payments are not unusual, however I couldn't cancel my appointment without losing money. The payments were not requested until after I set an appointment. I now know to ask about fees! My ex-husband, per our aggreement, received a large bill over 6 months after everything was supposed to have been taken care of. At least they paid attention to who they billed. I understand the processing time for claim, so the time wasn't too odd. He and I halfed it to fully pay the bill considerting they LOVE FEES. There was a LARGE FEE range to set up a payment plan which would charge intrest. I work as a coder/billing/follow up, and none of my 8 surgeons conduct nor would conduct their billing like this. I was surprised, and would have never set an appointment had I known any of the "billing policy". As far as the actually service from the psychologist, Dr Wadsworth, I was very impressed! She was a wonderful doctor for the three or four visits for my son's testing.

Edited to add: A lot of people have run into the same issues as me, as services for testing being non covered, even with excellent insurance. There are many other doctors that do testing and give a diagnosis without additional, uncovered testing. In addition, in our case outside testing had been done already, extremely recent and by a qualified doctor, it was not taken under consideration. I have requested many documents, like statements and haven't had any sort of response from the billing department. I have only received hostility, which is very unexpected for any business, especially one where we have been with 6 years including when Dr. Crisler was at another facility. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS! A lot of their services are not covered my standard insurances. I was on the 12 month payment plan after paying a large amount upfront and thought the rest was on auto pay. I was never billed or notified for any late payments until I inquired thinking my account was paid off and learned that they have charged me over $300 in late fees (over 30 separate charges )on an $600 bill less than 1 year old. The office manager is no treat. She did not send me any of the billing information I asked her, for example, monthly invoices with added fees. In addition, she was just very ugly and rude on the phone and I told her so. Then she said, "I know you are." She has no professionalism and is a direct reflection to what kind of business Dr. Crisler is running.

Do you take Medicaid ??

Michelle Miller | Oct 15, 2018
Silver Linings Neurodevelopment | Oct 15, 2018

While we do not accept Medicaid at this time, we do offer very extended payment plans to reduce the immediate cost of service and make our services more affordable for as many families as possible. This is true for all of our services, including therapy and evaluations. Also, we are always re-evaluating our ability to help as many families as possible and our insurance policies/plans may change over time. Please give us a call if you think that we may be able to help, especially if a payment plan would make it more affordable!
