It’s a good place but the new bhg meds are a horrible generic med. BHG cut pay and the dr. Quit without a 2 week notice. The dr. Worked at both facilties for over 6 years that I know of. You are treated like they are deaf and won’t respond to all questions. They changed and might as well be robots nobody cares especially the director! Thanks for the help. The bhg corp. makes me want to use again. Can’t stand to be treated this way. Been clean 2 years btw. Now I want to be done with the one thing that works because I can not stand to converse with anyone here. Still thankful for the meds but everything else was my own doing. Bhg does not help. I can’t stand what kind of organization they are. Horrible. People do not come first, The bottom line does!! 2 star for the medication. 0 stars for service!

This clinic literally saved my life. I had jusr lost my son to suicide and another clinic had tossed me out bc they didnt care for the meds I was given to get through it made me a suicide risk. Huntsville Recovery took me in and helped me help myself.. Gas prices made it where I had to transfer clinics. All the progress I made in Huntsville... well, I'll just say, transferring was a HUGE mistake. I should have found a way.

This place is a joke. You have to do a physical once a year, which isn't that bad. Except you have to be signed in at 6am. I arrived at 5:45am and it is 8:50 and still has not seen any of the ones here for a physical. This place is so unprofessional, and do not care about anyone that trys to get help. I have never seen a place thats so slow. The ones that work there mostly just sit around and talk while people who has to go to work wait for hours. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC.

I was a patient for several years and I was always treated wonderfully by the staff. Kelly G is the best counselor i have ever had and went above and beyond to help me get off of methadone. I cant possibly say enough great things about the staff of Huntsville Recovery. Dr Dupper always was very lenient and understanding whenever I messed up and I was treated like a person by her unlike most drs that treat homeless people as subhumans. I highly recommend this place. I have to say that I would get on Suboxone if I was a prospective patient.

Huntsville Recovery takes new clients on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - you must be here between 5:30 and 6:30am. The daily fee for medication-assisted treatment (methadone or Subutex) is $16. All you need for intake is your ID, Medicaid card (if applicable) or $16 cash.
Hi James, Huntsville Recovery only takes Medicaid currently. We cannot take Medicare yet but we hope the state will start covering this type of treatment soon. The fee is $16 a day and clients can be reimbursed for some insurance policies.
