My doctor just moved from TOC to Tenn Valley Pain. I really need to speak to someone because a PA needs to be sent to my insurance for a refill of medication. I’ve now been waiting for almost 2 hours for someone to pick up the line. This is ridiculous and unacceptable and I will definitely be looking to change my doctor.

I have been trying to call scheduling for a few days, infact a week ago today. I hold as long as I can. 30,45 minutes and one day for 1 hr.

I had a appointment today and both my wife and I took off work to go to it. When we arrived the reception info us I was going be seen. The professional way would been a phone call a half day of work. I was handed 2 prescriptions that I already have. This place doesn't deserve a star.

They are absolutely horrible at answering phone calls. We waited on hold for the operator to pickup 45 minutes. Finally I walked over to the office stood in line for 3 patients and get to the desk were I was still on hold as I’m speaking with the desk. My daughter had a seizure in their clinic. Where they called EMT’s to transport her. Her doctor who called the emergency never once called back ET doctors or checked back on her status. Even though she was there to have a procedure on her Baclofin pump and catheter. They should really review their oaths. Seriously unprofessional

Yes, try the police. But if you know the patient personally & are concerned, I would give TVPC a call. You will probably have to know the name of the patients doctor. I have been a patient for 10 yrs. You have to sign a contract stating that you will not receive any form of pain meds from other doctors, or they will drop you. I had surgery a few months back, & while in recovery my husband went to lunch & filled prescriptions for me to take home. I didn't know that one of them was a pain med until we got home. It was only a small amount of pain meds, so I just put them in cabinet bc I only take what TVPC prescribes. On my next visit to TVPC, the NP, asked what I had done with those pain meds. Needless to say, I have forgotten about them. TVPC system has access to all info about meds that have been dispensed to you by other Doctors or health facilities. I went back home, retrieved the meds & took them to TVPC, turned them in & they disposed them.
A conversation with them to explain everything and to look at your records. They're really good and friendly.
I have BCBS Advantage, Medicare plan. Usually u can go online, look up your own insurance company and type in facility, speciality, or Doctor to see if they are listed under your plan.
Yes, and they try and get you to pay for everyone that has ever gone there.
Alma, this is a public site, where anyone can see your questions and just answer to what they know. This is not affiliated with Tennessee Valley Pain Clinic, so they do not monitor this. I would advice that you remove your question because you have put personal information, like your date of birth on it.
If it's your first appt you go to the 4th floor
If I'm not mistaken you will have to be referred by your doctor and then they will call you to set up an appointment
Love it
You need to call and ask, I believe that you will have to go in to receive the script. Unless you are otherwise directed.
Hi Mr. Beard, You can certainly ask the nurse at your next appointment. We'll be glad to help in any way we can.
As a new patient it was over 6 weeks before I could be seen. I ended up having to reschedule, took an additional six weeks.
I've had no problems with then. You will talk to a PA 1st answer a bunch of questions so they get to know you & ur problems better. Then the doc will come in and talk options with you. I like them because it's not cookie cutter. They take the time to know you
Hi Ms. DeLong, There is no problem having prescriptions filled from a different state if your provider notates it on the script. Thanks and we hope this is helpful.
That doesn't sound right. Contact the billing office and your insurance company.
Thank you Reanna for inquiring! We post all closures for holidays and/or inclement weather on our website tnvalleypain.com and Facebook page. Best.

Hi Mr. Spearman, We apologize for the confusion with your billing. Our staff has consulted with the billing company and they are resubmitting your statement to worker's comp today. It looks like this was isolated to the particular date of service in question. You can ignore the bill and feel free to contact the billing company with any further questions (256) 970-2679. Thank you!
They now have CBD oil that you can buy from one particular place. But I am going to warn you, it is a bit more expensive than the ones that have a little bit of THC.
Depends on what your visit is for, plus you have to be referred by your primary or other physician. Just to see a NP, not even seeing the actual physician for basic visit, I'm charged $125 plus $85 for urine lab fee, & I'm om Medicare. So I can't even begin to imagine what the charge is without insurance. I would call the billing department, maybe they can give you a ruff estimate of charges.
The consultation appointment is when our providers evaluate new patients to determine their condition and discuss treatment options. If a patient does not have a recent MRI or CT scan within the last year, the physician will likely order imaging to access the patient's pain generator. We highly recommend bringing any imaging he may have and physician notes from other physician offices. Thank you and hope this helps answer you question.
