Yes, try the police. But if you know the patient personally & are concerned, I would give TVPC a call. You will probably have to know the name of the patients doctor. I have been a patient for 10 yrs. You have to sign a contract stating that you will not receive any form of pain meds from other doctors, or they will drop you. I had surgery a few months back, & while in recovery my husband went to lunch & filled prescriptions for me to take home. I didn't know that one of them was a pain med until we got home. It was only a small amount of pain meds, so I just put them in cabinet bc I only take what TVPC prescribes. On my next visit to TVPC, the NP, asked what I had done with those pain meds. Needless to say, I have forgotten about them. TVPC system has access to all info about meds that have been dispensed to you by other Doctors or health facilities. I went back home, retrieved the meds & took them to TVPC, turned them in & they disposed them.
Police?
