The nurses and respitory specialists on the 4th floor are absolutely amazing. They had so much patience and compassion. Nurse Tait in the PICU played with blocks with my daughter and respiratory specialist Aubrey in the PICU was great with my daughter. They were both so caring and we couldn't have asked for better people helping us care for our child.

Absolutely incredible group of people working here! Thanks to the team for making today so special for our family and our new addition!

They’re usually great but today SMH totally disappointed at some point I should be seen. I understand whoever is sickest but if blood and pus is coming out of the ear I think it's serious too. Everyone that has come in before and after me for the last 5 hours is gone the fact that they couldn't find the time for my child.

I’m 3 months postpartum and I hated my experience it was a horrible experience. The nurses just blew me off and wanted to send me home after they gave me pitocin to labor at home when I was having horrible pains . (Stuck at 3 cm but went 3 to 8 cm so fast ) They absolutely threw out my birth plan out the window as they kept brushing it off to the other nurse ( whoever walked in my room ) at the time . I only had one request for my birth plan and that was to delay cord cutting . Nope cut the cord as soon baby was out . They also just talked about what they were going to do after they got off work . Dealing with postpartum and it absolutely hurts me thinking about that experience.

Street level parking is available at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children for patients and visitors. A limited number of metered parking spaces are also available for short visits (45 minutes or less). Additionally, a paid parking area is located on the west side of the building that requires $2 to exit, payable by credit card, debit card or cash.
HH is a public hospital amd they can't deny you service. If you don't have any of the information they should be able to look it up if your child has ever been a patient there. If not, you being the parent and identifying your child and verbally providing the info should be enough. Worst case scenario they put the child in as a john or jane doe but that won't happen with a relative there to identify them.
Hello, Ms. Griggs. I'm sorry, but we are uncertain what you are asking. There are a couple of physician office buildings behind Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children with a lot of different physician practices located inside.
Yep I believe they do ,but under another name and subspeciality
No. Only ultrasound techs do them. They don't allow children to perform medical tests.
You can take a gown if you would like pink or blue for you pictures. Not necessary if you don't want to. We did once but not 2nd time. Both were c-section babies. So didn't go the same. Babies are different. They take hospital pictures so take a outfit for this. Photo shoot pictures at hospital are expensive now. Baby door hanger for baby weight, length, name. Etc. You some gowns and a robe or 2 if you choose. You will not be furnished robes or slippers. Took brush personal stuff She preferred. A overnight bag. If your on medication for pain the baby can't be left in the room with you without a family member. One person only can spend the night. I hope the Lord blesses you and your family always.
Hello, Ms. Fortenberry. There are two ER's at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children. One is the Pediatric ER that is only for children. The second an OB Emergency Department inside the hospital for pregnancy related problems. All other patients should go to the Emergency Room at Huntsville Hospital main or Madison Hospital.
I assume you mean the doctors are the ones giving you the run around? You have to be assertive. It is your body, and sadly depending on insurance, some doctors won't be interested. However, you have the right to be heard. You also have the right to a second opinion. Do not just go with what you are told, because only you know your body. If you are in pain and know something is wrong, demand they listen and do something. I was told there was nothing wrong with me. I refused to leave the hospital, and in the end my appendix had ruptured. It no longer appeared swollen, so they tried to dismiss me. Good luck to you.
There is one on galliton across from the huntsville main
Yes. Just contact the hospital for more info.
My oldest son had an awful reaction to augmentin when he was 18 months and they had me give him a small amount of Benadryl, i think @1ml, to help with the hives, but I'm not positive about exactly how much. The medicine worked WONDERFULLY! I hope you have the same experience and good luck to you and your little one.
This isnt a question. Why are you yelling?
