0 stars - if it was possible. What a waste of time. Spent over 4 hours at this location as a first time donor going through health history, vitals and physical assessments including specifics on tattoo locations and the dates of completion. After 4 hours it was determined I couldn’t donate because of my tattoos on my arms that cover my veins (ACF region), because the phlebotomist wouldn’t be able to find my veins. As a phlebotomist, the profession is based on tactile skill, not visibility. The LPN going over my medical history was the most unprofessional individual I’ve ever met and made me extremely uncomfortable. Save your time, not worth the frustrations.

I initially came to this location because they were fast and clean. I stopped coming here because you will never get done in less then 4 hours or 6 if you have to visit medical. I have been here for almost 2 hours and havent even got to donation bay. I will not be returning as I dont have 4-6 hours twice a week

The staff are friendly, but the service is awful. They'll keep you STANDING in line for hours, because they only have one person taking vitals, while 3-4 people just stand around. 1st time donators get priority in the line, which would be ok, if the line moved. Last time I went in, no one took vitals for almost 40 minutes. By then, the 1st time donators line and the regular line were almost the same length. And you don't sit down until you are in the donation area. It's not worth the $55 to stand in line for 3 hours, then spend another hour donating. If the staff is going to take a 20 between each patient, at least be humane enough to put some chairs in the waiting line. THEY don't seem to have a problem sitting down.

There is almost always a line, the process isn't very donor friendly. If they made donors schedule appointments it would be a lot nicer of a place to donate. They now started to wait until a full line of beds is available before they bring the line of donors back to actually donate.

They are very short staffed. So it's been taking awhile for all processes of donating
They are always under staffed cause they dont pay their people enough. If your a new donor expect to wait and the process will take up to 5 hours. They keep changing their hours call before you go
Yes, they are open; 7am-4pm. I had just left that day when you asked the question. I go on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. They've been open when I go, but if they're understaffed or don't have anyone in medical there, they won't open.
Honestly I do not know the answer to this question. Call and ask them.
they might but to be honest your not donating blood your donating the liquid in your blood , the doctor's or a blood donation center could help you with that
No.. your payment will be on a debit card that they give you.
They ask you to eat a high protein meal...no cereal. Breakfast burrito is my favorite before I go in!
Apply
Yes
Yes, they pay the same at all of the locations.
How much you weighing
Pay hasn't changed this year. New donors are still getting $100 to $150 depend on the donation
I think it's still $1100 for the first 8 donations
You're paid immediately after you donate
7a.m. with the new time
About an hour of prep stuff just the first time. They pay based on how much you can donate (based on your weight). Right now you get 70 the first five times then you go to the normal rate which increases each time you give in a one month period
You are the worst type of people. Who goes into an establishment that closes within the hour. Why not go early and maybe that wouldn't of happened.
Hypertension will also keep you from donating. If you're pulse and/or blood pressure is too high you will be deferred.
You should be able to if you have clearance from your doctor. They have a form your doctor will fill out and then medical will evaluate you.
Yes whatever time they have listed that they close is the time they allow donors to walk in until.
They take plasma. The levels depend on your weight I think varies 600 I think 800 if u weigh up to 150lbs over 150 lbs 880 heavier your are by weight. The more you weigh the more you get is what I waa told
Depending on if they are running a promo 70$
You never need an appointment. It's on your own time. You been donate twice a week. Whichever days of the week you choose. If you go Monday & Wednesday. Those are your days you can donate. If you skip your second day of the week or go after your normal day (let's say Wednesday) then that becomes your second donation day. If you don't go at all then your week resets itself. Your pay alternates too. I believe your pay reflects on your weight, and your first day pays less than your second. There's usually some type of bonus every month for your 6th & 7th donations. Longer months there's sometimes a bonus for your 7th, 8th & 9th donations. I believe you still get more for your first 4 donations as well. They have to be with in 45 days and it pays out $60 & $75.
Yes. 60 for 1st. 45 for 2nd. 60 for third and 45 for 4th
Yes
They are open on weekends, but you have to go through screening and a physical before they let you donate.
I think you have to go 6 months without donating at all then you get paid as a new donor but you also have to redo all the new donor stuff too.
Federal regulations only allow an individual to donate plasma twice within a seven day period.
No, you don't have to be a Northglenn resident.
Has to be a bill or pay stub
About 5 unless u go at 6 or 7 u can try 2 but it's a ify time
60 1st visit. 75 2nd, 60 3rd, 75 4th and then its 27 first time each week and 45 second visit in a week. Heads up, very understaffed, they don't wipe down after each patient and I only ever seen someone change their gloves once.
Depends on your weight
Call the center
You have to call the bank. It will tranfer over right away but you have to wait 7 to 10 bussiness days for your new card!
