IF I WERE YOU, I WOULDN'T STAY THERE. THE CARPETS ARE DIRTY. YOU CAN'T BREATHE IN THE HALLWAYS. BY IT BEING DOG FRIENDLY, THEY HAVE NO RULES WHEN IT COMES TO PETS. THEY ALLOW DOGS IN THE DINING ROOM WHILE PEOPLE ARE EATING. ROOMS SMELL LIKE WET DOGS. PAY ATTENTION....... WHEN YOU MAKE A RESERVATION, THE MANAGER GOOGLES YOUR HOME TO SEE HOW RICH YOU ARE SO THAT HE CAN SCAM MORE MONEY OUT OF YOU. THE WORKING CONDITIONS FOR THE EMPLOYEES ARE HORRIBLE. IT'S LIKE WORKING IN SLAVE TIME. ALSO DON'T TRUST HIS SIDE KICK. TOWELS AND WASH CLOTHS HAVE SPOTS ON THEM.

My friend and I just had a getaway weekend at this lovely hotel! Our stay was perfect. The staff was friendly and welcoming and our room had plenty of space, clean and welcoming. It's an added plus that the market is right on site so we could grab lunch and dinner from different vendors and enjoy live music on Saturday night. Would highly recommend!

My family and I gathered at the intimate Chestnut Hill Hotel last weekend, enjoyed every bit of it. We are from the area and familiar with all the fun and charm and great food that the historic neighborhood offers. It was my first stay at the hotel, though family members have stayed in the past. I must say, I was more than impressed. What a comfortable sleep! Mattress and pillows were divine. My room was pristine, attractive and thoughtfully appointed. The hotel is quiet. Staff is so friendly and helpful (thank you especially to Michelle) and the overall ambience makes for warm and friendly guests, too. Our family made use of the hotel’s Bombay Room for a celebratory dinner. Several years ago, we rented that space for a bridal shower and will I am sure make happy memories there again. Highly recommended. A short hop to Center City, too.

This hotel is stunning. We used it as accommodations for our wedding, and it was absolutely perfect. Our guests loved the rooms, and couldn't stop talking about how beautiful they were & the hotel in general. It is such a unique space, and was exactly what we were hoping to have for our guests. The brewing company and market were such a lovely bonus. Our guests were able to explore and get something to eat during the day, and the market had such delicious sandwiches, snacks & coffee. I don't think we had any guest feel the need to leave the hotel property during the day, there was so much to explore. The number 1 benefit to the Chestnut Hill hotel for our wedding was the use of the carriage house. We were able to utilize this entire building (4 rooms) for our bridal party to get ready in. Since we had 4 rooms (including bride & grooms) who booked in the carriage house, we were able to have our doors open and the hair & makeup team could use all 4 rooms and the small common area and it was absolutely perfect for us. This carriage house doesn't have to be utilized in that way, as you can book individual rooms, but it worked really nicely for us. Regardless, I would suggest bride & groom book in the carriage house- it is such a beautiful space and such a lovely room to spend our wedding night in.
