Everything about my experience with Morris House Hotel was exceptional. They are categorically gracious and kind people. I ended up here as a fluke. My car broke down during a road trip, and they went out of their way to accommodate my family while we were in repair limbo. Even now, as I write this review from their sitting room hours after my check out, they let me work remotely while we wait to pick up our car. Every single person from the front desk to the cleaning staff have been wonderful. Beyond being kind and accommodating, the stay itself has been great. The rooms are spacious, everything is clean, the beds are comfortable, the water pressure is good (which I didn't expect from a historical house,) and the linens are pristine. I would not have gotten this level of comfort or care if I'd gone one of the larger chain hotels.

This hotel is extremely beautiful and charming, with an old-fashioned vibe. It's located in a great spot for exploring Philadelphia. Book if you can!

We booked Morris House Hotel very last minute because of a problem with our rental car and I must say this was exactly what we needed that night. Extremely kind and helpful staff, beautiful hotel and pretty hotel room and the most comfortable bed! I would definitely book it again. Only thing that could be improved was the breakfast :-)
