The Smith brothers brought it back to life. It was great in the 80's, then the food became a cafateria buffet and the shows lacked in quality. It almost was closed until the rescue. Shows are now entertaining and the food is offered with delicious options based on the show. It is now the longest operating dinner theater in the USA! A great place to bring visitors from out of town. Warning: Shows book up quickly. If you want to see a particular show, book ASAP!
Yes, we have participation bags for sale and we are encouraging costumes!
Yes, we do have a show-only tickets. You may purchase these to (generally) any show though the box office, only.
Ive heard that you can see the show without dinner but you should call and find out for sure. It might be just certain shows.
Proscenium seats offer a side view of the stage. These seats are the last two tables on the second, third and fourth tiers and the last table on the floor level against the curtain wall on A-side and C-side. At the beginning of each show, we offer a limited number of these reduced-price seats because they are on the far right and far left hand sides of the stage. This special price is popular as the seats are still great and nothing obstructs your view of the performance.
Hi JaNina, yes we are a child friendly venue. Children 12 & under are $35 + tax per person. We generally ask that children under 5 years of age not attend as a courtesy to our performers and other patrons. During our summer family show and Christmas show we do lower the age to three. We do also have Children's Theater geared towards Pre-K - 5th grade ages throughout the year.
At the Alhambra Theatre & Dining your ticket cost includes dinner. Therefore, it is frequently asked, what is the tipping policy? What makes us slightly different is that you are provided a bill at the table for only your beverages. In some cases it may be a bottle of wine, in others a bottle of sparkling water. Like any restaurant, gratuities are a special way for you to acknowledge service provided to you and should reflect your satisfaction with the service. SUGGESTED TIPPING GUIDE: 18% – $5.00 per person (meal only) 20% – $5.55 per person (meal only) 25% – $6.95 per person (meal only)
The seats literally form a u around the stage. There really isn't a bad seat. I'd say the "best" seat is directly in front of the stage, so the bottom of the u.
Please call the box office for availability or you can check online for any available tickets, at any time.
Absolutely you can get a ticket for one. So many people do.
Yes, please call for reserved seating for wheelchair accessible tables. 904.641.1212
On their page it starts. "Please allow 24-hour notice should you need to change or cancel your reservation in any way. Same day cancellations and no shows will be charged $15 per seat. Seats may be transferred at any time to another performance. Any remaining balance, based on form of payment, will be kept on file with us as a house credit, to be used for future performances. This balance may be used for a future ticket purchase only and cannot be used as gratuity or for other purchases. In the event that you do not attend your scheduled reservation without notice, no exchanges, credits, or refunds will be issued. If a ticket exchange is made for a lesser price admission, no refund or credit will be issued for the difference. In the event of an exchange for a higher priced admission, the additional balance due will be collected by Alhambra Theatre & Dining prior to admission."

At the table. They offer vegetarian and gluten free most times. The chef is great
Not sure. If you go to the website I know you can email Craig. In response to Tina Terrell's mediocre response. Having seen shows in the UK'S westend, (I'm English)I think they do a very good job considering the size of the theatre. Anyone with a modicum of common sense would realise that the shows would have to be condensed, and taking that into account the shows are very good. If you want a proper west end show then pay the prices and go to whatever the west end equates to over here! The meals are good too taking into account dining in the US. Again, if you want a silver service standard of meal pay the price and go to a silver standard restaurant.
Deborah, we ask that guests wear business casual - for example, no shorts or sandals. You may also want to bring a sweater.
Little shop of horror until 3/14.. WONDERFUL play

Hi Gara, it depends on where you sit and how many people are in your party. We have 39 6-person tables and 40 4-person tables. We do have a special offer for most shows where you can block seats at your table, so that your party can have the table to themselves.
Call and get seasonal tickets...they have various levels and packages of tickets for groups or singles. They also have matinées specials.
Call them and also sign up for their newsletter. 641-1212
Yes, we request business casual for our regular performances. For special events, we usually request a special dress code. For example: our New Year's Eve Gala requests formal wear while we encourage guests to dress according to theme for our various music series concerts.
Sorry I wasn't living in the area at the time but I'm almost sure there's someone out there who could help you
