Rented a hobbit cabin for my wife and I had a wonderful time while we were there everything was nice and clean staff was a pleasure to interact with. we will be coming back often.

Stayed here with my grandparents when I was young and 18 or so years later I had to come back. We stayed in the two story cabin and it was great (they also have a few new cabins and amenities as well so many options to choose from). If your worried it's to far away from Bar Harbor or Acadia National Park, the drive is really not that long to get from the campground to the hot spots of MDI. It's a great place to be in nature and each spot has a lot of foliage to give you a sense of secludedness.

It’s hard to be negative in such a beautiful area. My campsite was about 15 feet from my parking area (motorcycle). The site was perfect, with a great platform and fire pit (see photo). I was on the edge of the property I suppose as I could see a cabin and the neighbor mow his lawn, but he didn’t seem too loud. Super clean bathrooms. Site #36.

This campground was wonderful. Clean, quiet and accommodating. The cabin we stayed in was brand new and had great amenities. Microwave, fridge with freezer and electricity. Reasonably priced and comfortable. Highly recommend.
