Less crowds compared to the South West center. My visit was smooth, friendly and stress free

Collection of the most miserable people in D.C. all working at the same establishment. Went there today to get a reciprocity permit. My auto insurance policy takes effect tomorrow. Lady refused to serve me or help me and said I had to come back the next day when it takes effect. She said it's impossible to give anyone a reciprocity permit that takes effect the next day. Extremely rude and difficult to deal with. Also turns out what she said isn't true because I went to a different DMV and got exactly that...

Terrible service and attitudes. I brought all necessary documents and materials - checking the website and called in advance. I walked 40min back and forth, only to have a woman skin my paperwork and told me it wasn’t considered proof of residency. My unexpired lease. I had both a digital and physical copy, and she told me I needed to reprint it. I’m so frustrated and irritated.

Terrible service, 👎 and racists unfortunately, a few days ago I went I didn't let them or talk about the brunette anymore and she didn't do the paperwork I needed! More than closing in that online I could do it when I needed to ask questions and have answers also due to a problem with the renewal of my car plates. races! The worst👎 It's sad and frustrating how they see one badly👎

A city worker told me yesterday that if you are 65 or older and lost your permit, you can have it replaced at no cost. This differs from what 311 told me. They said I simply must bring my birth certificate along and $20 to get a replacement copy.
True
Stolen id
Nope
No, I was in and out within 20 minutes 🙂
You should probably take the one tag and the police report with you. Georgetown should be able to taken care of that, but it’s been my experience that most of the staff is inappropriately trained and will tell you that certain documents are acceptable when they are actually not. I’m getting ready to go back to the DMV for a third time with the documentation requested and am already preparing for them to send me away for a new reason this time. Good luck.
There is street parking, must arrive early in the morning also garage parking for a fee
Yes , public parking at 33 st.
No appointment needed. Just walk right in.
If,you park near the entrance closer to the DMV door you should be fine.
No discounts for senior citizens, they do get free non drivers ID
No appointment needed
No. And their website recommends against going on Tuesdays because that’s their busiest day
I believe they start taking walk-ins this weekend? Just make sure you have all the required documents when you get to the DMV. (All on the website)
Yes you have to make a appointment online if not call the DMV to ask if you can make one through them
There is a parking garage, but you must have a scheduled appointment with DMV
Knot sure sorry, you can call now
Only if you already have the REAL ID with the black star in the right hand corner. If not you would need to visit the Dmv for service.
Go online dmv.dc.gov
I don't think that you can. Contact DC DMV.
Get an itin number https://www.irs.gov/individuals/individual-taxpayer-identification-number
Go on line make appointment other wise dont go,they won't let u in tells u what you need mist important piece is birth certificate
Ha Chris are u waiting for your license to come in mail.?
Assad i sent u info last time call 311 and listen get the list of documents you will need to take with u I just did mine last week.
When you get there it is fast. No long lines like before but you need to move fast appointments go quick. My phone was giving me problems when i started I was on the 5th of November when I got back on it was the 20th. Tuesday at noon I was advised to make my appointment.
My ID had expire, what do I do to RENEW it?
Do I need a vehicle to take the driving test??
Yes
In reference to first question, Did you lose your ID or Drivers license? Also are you asking how to replace your ID/DL?
Unfortunately the DMV is only seeing people by appointment's only. You must have a Certified Birth certificate with embossed seal from Vital Records, or a unexpired passport from the State Department, along with TWO current utility bills such as Pepco, Water, Gas, or Comcast, you will need two, & and a current copy of your lease agreement. The other documents mentioned on the Mayor's 311 call center number they are not accepting as proof of your birth or resident, you must have a copy of your Social Security card. Check from time to time for an earlier appointment online at the different DMV locations. This is the ( ONLY WAY ) I went and I have to obtain these documents in order to get my DC License and car registration. Just get the documents to save yourself the grief. Get your social worker and your home health aid to assist you with getting theses documents. Good luck🙏🏾
You need to go dmv website to make appointments.
No
What should I bring to renew my drivers license
Go to DMV website all information is there
You need go there. Don't forget your: - 2 proof of residence - passports - faith and patience - time to spend
U can do it online
As long as its not expired
I am calling about my driving license but they're hanging up on me but my question is my license was never revoked I just was able to renew it so how do I go about renewing my license
Go online and get a duplicate registration or you can call customer service
That depends on what kind of non-driver license you have. If it is not the REAL ID, you must go in. The real I'd is governed by Homeland Security. Call 311 for information and explanation.
Yes, there is a parking structure. This location is in the basement of a mall. Alternatively, there are meters on the street.
You will need to show up with your documents ready and be prepared to wait twice. Once to be greeted and receive a number and a second for them to call your number. I don't think they take appointments. You should receive your new card within 2 weeks.
1 government issued ID (passport), Social Security Number, 2 proofs of address (utility bill, lease, bank statement). Check DMV website to make sure.
What information do I need to renew a non-driver's ID and what is the cost?
What sort of update? Do you want to update the type of ID, or some info on it like your name or address? Also, the documents needed vary depending on whether it's a "REAL ID" or a Limited Purpose ID.
Yes
If you had a "REAL ID" drivers license, you can replace it online. See https://dmv.dc.gov/service/replace-real-id-or-limited-purpose-driver-license
What type of DL do you currently have? Is it the old one or the new "Real Driver's License?"
You probably do if as you say you R A DC resident. especially if you want the RPP
I just called the DC DMV. To answer your question, it depends on what type of DL you currently have. If you have the New Real DL that you are trying to renew, there's no documents required unless there are changes in address, name. You must bring those docs in. If you have the old DL you must come in with all the required documents. They will not accept anything lamenated or that is expired. Call DC's "311" press 2 then press 0 to speak to someone.
To be on the safe side, take your birth certificate, ss card, and proof of residency and a utility bill that is in your name! EVERYTHING MUST MATCH AND BE CURRENT! BLESSINGS TO YOU!
No idea what the question means
No, you have to pay it to the Maryland DMV
I don't think so.If the regs say 16, that's pretty much a done deal
If what you mean is whether you can take the knowledge test, yes, you can.
Yes u can as it shows in website
You pay them online at the Website listed on the back of your ticket.
Yes, they are open until 4 pm.
Temporary visitor pass is at your local police station.
Where can I get the driving lessons to remove the points from the license
