It cost me a $100 non-refundable deposit to learn this lesson regarding the Bowie location, so here goes: 1. You have to put a $100 deposit down that regardless of the reason you decide to cancel, you will not receive back, fyi 2. For birthday parties, the "sessions" are 15 minutes each. 3. For your party, you will be in the sessions with other patrons (regardless of age) who happen to be in the facility, this is not a private party. 4. Your party is out in the open, not in a room, fyi. 5. There is inconsistency with what you can bring to the party regarding cake/cup cakes. Verbatim from their confirmation email: "there is no outside food or drink allowed in our facility. Cupcakes or cake can be brought by the hosts". Per their website though, "we require that the cake be bought from a certified kitchen". Speaking with the person at the location, they hadn't heard of this policy. 6. Their website advertised food could be purchased from a main or catering menu. However, speaking with the person in the phone (after deposit was made) no food is offered on site. The pizza for the party is brought in (Papa John's). 7. Advertised as part of the package are invitations. After purchasing the package, the link you are given to the invitations is blank regarding the address or the location, just a generic white background with balloons that says you're invited, but it doesn't say where. This also cannot be edited. Simple thing, but again something you are charged as part of the package. Asked the folks on the phone, they were unable to fix the problem. 8. We aren't local to the area, but several Google reviews mentioned the arcade games were broken. I would encourage anyone booking to stop by ahead of time to check out the facility and whether games and laser tag equipment functions as advertised. Again, told on the phone you do not receive a refund and if arcade games are down, they are managed by a different company. One star for missing and inconsistent information. For the total cost we were looking to spend on the gold party package, coupled with the inconsistent information and questionable review on Google, we decided to go a different direction. Hopefully this saves someone else their deposit.

Disappointing visit, this place used to be a great time. I can no longer recommend. We played 3 rounds of Laser Tag and every round we had equipment issues! Each time the staff said to just grab another vest, while they immediately put the broken ones back into the rotation... On our final game 6 people had equipment issues and could not play the full time. Waste of money :(

Pay no mind to any of the negative reviews cause this place is great! We went today, 5/28/22, and it was awesome. Great/helpful staff, great prices, clean place and all around fun! Any place you go that has arcades will always have 1 or 2 that don't work but 95% of them do here and they're all fun. It was our first time here and I know for a fact it'll now be on our regular rotation. Great job, Castle Laser Tag Team!! You made my 9yr olds day!
