Called around noon to inquire on cost and availability of an inspection of my vehicle. Was told that it couldn't be done because it was about to rain, and that I should come tomorrow, no appointment needed. I informed the gentleman who answered my call that I had planned on coming later that afternoon around 4/415pm and confirmed with him that if it was not raining at that time the inspection could be done. The gentleman stated that would be fine. I ended up getting off work an hour earlier than anticipated and arrived around 305pm, sun shining bright. The same gentleman who answered the phone greeted me and asked me what I came in for. Once I told him an inspection, he informed me that the inspector had already left for the day. I reminded him that he told me that I could come today as long as it wasn't raining. He then replies "yeah but it's wet on the ground, it can't be done". I reminded him again that that is not what he said on the phone. He just repeats that the inspector left and it's wet outside. I asked him when does the inspector leave each day, he says 2pm and that he would be back tomorrow from 8am to 2pm. They don't have to worry about me getting out of my bed early to come back here, at all. It would have been nice to know when I called 3 hours prior to my arrival that the inspector would not be available by the time I would arrive. Common courtesy and basic customer service!
