I absolutely love the variety of machines but working out here can be kinda gross when it gets packed. Not many people clean their machines after…which I understand people forget, but maybe having staff go by every once in a while to wipe them down would go a long way. I think it’s mostly because they set up the cleaning supplies in such inconvenient places, it’s all in one place right at the front. Maybe they want you to take a spray bottle with you as you work out? The air conditioning definitely needs to be brought up more, with all of the cardio machines up stairs it gets super stuffy and there is no table of spray bottles up there. In the 1 yoga room they have there is no spray bottle either so you can’t clean your mat unless you walk all the way to the front to get it, you could use a towel and put hand sanitizer on it but that doesn’t really work. With that being said there’s a lot of different types of machines, but there are only maybe 1 or 2 of them. All the free weights are in one area but everything is very close together and that’s usually where everyone is. When there is no class going on it’s great to just bring some weights into the yoga room, they have punching bags hanging up in there and some lighter weights 2.5’s and 5’s. They have a concession stand for water and protein stuff. Volleyball is on Thursdays at 6-10! Because the gym seems like it’s mostly men the net is set up as a mens standard net which can be difficult for beginners and women. The pool is a heated pool but there’s not really much ventilation in that area so it’s hard to breathe when swimming laps, the bottom of the pool does not look clean, but they do provide the water weights to swim with and there is also a hot tub. The showers have something similar to hand soap in them, but there’s no other type of shampoo or conditioner maybe it’s dedicated as body wash? The water pressure is amazing! There’s one hairdryer connected to the wall in the locker room. They do not have a machine for pads or tampons in the bathroom or locker room and they do not sell them at the little store. It’s just a lot of little things that seem to make the experience a little less than what you initially expect at least they have a variety of amenities though :)

I love the machines and all the options available. My only advice to the manager is the facility needs to be cleaned more and maybe a little more air conditioner. Everything else is great but the cleanliness is sub par.

Yup, gotta have a membership to access any gym features at all LA Fitness gyms, you can get a guest pass for a one time visit or a week. I don't believe this one has a basketball court anyway
