When checking in the front desk staff, young black woman with pink hair, was extremely professional and courteous. She was very pleasant with helping me adjust the air conditioning and pointing me to local sites. Room was clean and the hallways smelled amazing! Refreshing to see good customer service again. Would certainly return.

Very nice, fairly new hotel right off one of the main roads on the south side of Richmond. Convenient to everything within a few minutes drive. Second time staying here and each time I've been pleased.

I cannot understand why the Fairfield Inn & Suites Midlothian receives so many positive reviews. I will acknowledge and agree, that the employees were professional, polite, and respectful during our recent stay. However, this was one of the worst stays my family and I have had at a hotel in quite some time. Some of the challenges experienced: Broken room Telephone, Large Cob Webs hanging from the ceiling, dirty bathroom counters, bathtub drained slowly when taking shower, broken sink faucet, housekeeping entering room without knocking, hotel power flickering, and to add insult to injury…our entire room would randomly begin to shake…yes shake. To illustrate our challenge, we placed a cup of water on the nightstand and recorded the water rippling each time the room would shake. After some initial denial, a facilities representative acknowledged the shaking and said an HVAC System on the roof may be the cause. I cannot recommend the Fairfield Inn & Suites Midlothian.

Usually I don’t post reviews but I just had to this time. The overall hotel wasn’t bad. Stayed here over the weekend for a little getaway even though a snow storm was coming on Sunday. Got up Sunday morning to take a shower…no hot water. Hey, it’s cool. I can deal. I ended up checking out and driving over an hour home to beat the snow. Once home I realized I left my pea coat in the closet. Called hotel to see if they can hold it for me but the lady stated she didn’t see no coat…..yeah right!! Know for sure someone took my coat regardless of what she says about cameras. Will not be staying here again.
