I gave this place a try after the mixed reviews. It's good for the price point. Friendly staff and a well stocked breakfast. Waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt and more. Hotel room and bathroom was clean, lobby was clean. Wifi worked. (15mbps down, 11 up) It's a smoke free hotel. The sink does spray fast, but that a poor faucet design. Perfect for my two dogs as you can walk down Pam drive and there is no traffic. I would stay again.

Positive: The location is great Negative: The breakfast was severely lacking. What little they did put out was gone in seconds. Plain oatmeal packets, decaf tea and white bread w/ plain bagels. Room was dirty and obviously the bathroom had not been cleaned. Late night disturbance- w/police!

Gave this place a try after reading a few mixed reviews and unfortunately the negative reviews were accurate. Remote was sticky, missing the back, and looked as though it had never been wiped/sanitized. Bathroom mirror was not clean - over spray from brushing teeth was VERY visible. Found a pair of men's pants in the dresser. Random toiletries in the bathroom - Pantene Conditioner with Paul Mitchell Shampoo and body wash - not a deal breaker but odd? One of the lamps didn't work. Bed advertised as pillow top but super hard and uncomfortable. Advertised pictures were very misleading - the room we had was very oddly shaped, small, lacking a chair/any decor. The bathroom was behind a door that says "watch your step", it's about a 6 inch climb to the bathroom platform. Also window in room on first floor was unlocked which I only checked based on a previous review. On a positive - check in was friendly. Definitely a disappointment for the hotel chain!

This hotel was always our stop on the way these past 5 years north and south. However, we are going to be looking for another hotel that is cleaner and kept up. We just stopped here and left this morning feeling sad that it has very much gone downhill. There were used facecloths on the shower bar and the tub was disgusting. The heater/ air conditioner was not working properly. The room was either too hot or we had to shut it off and it was freezing. We visited here in November and had a poor experience as well. But, we thought perhaps it was one bad experience, so we tried it again. Sorry La Quinta, this hotel franchise is not worthy of your name. Goodbye.
