We checked in on 07/17/2022 and everything was off to a good start. We proceeded to our room (121) after checking in to find horribly stained carpet in the hallways. Once we got the room the first thing we noticed was a very bad, musty smell. Due to concerns for mold in the room and not wanting to get sick, we explained to the front desk and they moved us to a different room on the second floor (238). As soon as we walked in, we smelled the musty smell again, making the room stink. As I have read previous reviews from months prior to 07/17/2022, I have noticed reviews with the same complaints with a response of “we will look into this and get the situation taken care of”. This obviously did not happen as we also had a bad odor in 2 rooms. In our second room, we noticed the drained barely drained, the pipe under the sink leaked, the chair was extremely dirty and stained and there was a hole in the tub 1 inch up from the bottom where water could leak through. The night before we left, we were in the pool and noticed that only the air conditioners on the first floor had pipes leading out where condensation could escape. The second and third floor did not, which made use concerned that all the condensation was leaking into the walls down to the remaining floors causing the musty odor in all the rooms. The problems needs to be taken into consideration strongly before they get reported to the health department. Also, the stair wells on each end of the building had dead bugs all over the floor and huge patch jobs on the walls. Definitely would not come back to stay.

Positive: Location is great. Room was clean and quiet. The queen rooms are bigger then a king room just gor your information. I recommend this motel. Negative: The Pool was very nice but could use some cleaning by keeping the bugs and stuff skimmed off the top. But otherwise was nice.

We are staying here right now. We are paying $50 dollars though booking.com. It's the best $50 dollars we ever spent on a hotel! The room and bathroom is very clean, it smells really good, not like that musty old hotel smells, yuck! I'm impressed by this hotel Definitely will be staying here again the next time we come here

The hotel was clean and very reasonably priced. We had no issues with the stay at all. The clerk that checked us in was very friendly and helpful even though it was her first day. We had an issue with a leaky toilet and it was fixed within minutes. The problem we had was after the stay. My son with Autism left three items of clothing behind the bathroom door. I should have double checked the room before we left but he assured me he put them in the suitcase. When we arrived home and I unpacked the bag, I realized he had left the clothes. I called the hotel and told them the room number and they said they hadn't found anything. My husband called back two minutes later and they had the jeans that we had left. No one had seen the Columbia shirt or the Champion shorts which is odd since they were literally piled together. My brother was still in the area and picked up the jeans but no one has yet to see that other two items. Granted, I should have double checked behind my son but I feel like someone got themselves a shirt and a pair of shorts. So, if you happen to stay here and see someone working there wearing a green Columbia PFG shirt with orange details on the back or a pair of black Champion shorts with a red, white and blue stripe on the side, those items belong to my son. Overall, if you don't leave anything behind, it's a good place to stay in a good location.
