Excellent! I stayed in the upper cliff King suite and it was clean, comfortable and had incredible views. We saw whales in the morning while drinking coffee on our room’s balcony. Absolutely recommend.

Needed petrol - found a gem. Great spot for a snack, coffee and refresh. Lovely little place with accommodation, gift shop and amazing cakes and pastries. Very clean toilets too.

BIG CAVEAT: There is NO WIFI and NO CELLULAR SERVICE FOR ANY PROVIDER. (The only internet access provided is through one public computer in the lobby, and you can use one phone in the lobby.) If you don't mind being essentially cut off from internet and phone service in the 21st century, the place is great. The views are stunning, the service and the restaurant are very good and the rooms are good. I gave a poor service rating only because of the lack of WiFi, but the employees were all super. I would not stay here again because of the lack of connectivity. I would happily stay here again IF the Inn were to provide WiFi for guests, at least in a public space. UPDATE in response to the owner's response: You can easily make WiFi available at the Ragged Point Inn. The Ragged Point Inn computers have an internet connection, and that can be shared via a WiFi access point, which you can buy for less than $30. (It is cellular service which is not available in all of Big Sur due to the location.)
