The Standard is a great location to live at due to how close it is to everything but especially to campus. The employees are so nice and willing to help you with anything, and the units itself are very nice and taken good care of. But, the elevators are always down, dirty and the hallways are absolutely disgusting. They said they were going to clean the carpet in the hallways and replace fire exits in the beginning of the year but they never have.

A ton of my friends live at The Standard and every time I visit, I have a great experience! It's so easy to walk over there from my classes, my friends' apartment is beautiful, and I love the rooftop pool. Will definitely be looking to join my friends here next year!

Many problems with the building. Many people who are not residents destroy property. The standard has many amenities that are nice if they are functioning. The staff that works at the standard is very respectful and easy to talk to. Everyday is a good day if I see Chase putting in work.

The Standard is the best place to live in College Station. The gym is awesome, the view from the pool is great, the location is ideal. But the staff is what really makes this place. I love to stop by the office to say hello to my favorite staff members everyday. They really make it feel like home. Natalia is always so helpful when I have a question or need assistance!

Unfortunately it is not a gated community, however they offer "key cards/fobs" that can be scanned to gain entry into the building itself. Non-residents cannot gain access into the building without a fob, only the main lobby for general inquiries. All other parts of the building require a fob such as the resident lobby, resident kitchen, resident study rooms and computer lab(requires resident account info like I.d. and password), workout facility, pool and of course the unit itself. The garage is controlled by an automatic gate that scans incoming vehicles. It'll only open to residents with a vehicle that is registered to the apartments via scanned fob on your windshield. In addition, they offer non-armed security personnel that patrol the building throughout the day and night time hours to make sure the building is safe to all residents.
