I've lived here for 1.5 years, and I cannot wait for my lease to be over. Despite all the great reviews on here, management has absolutely no interest in taking care of its tenants. My biggest issue concerns the valet trash service. Since prior to my moving in, my neighbor has had very poor trash etiquette. She has left the same unbagged pieces of garbage in her bin - yes, it's been 1.5 years of the same garbage, uncollected, unbagged, creating smells and attracting bugs, especially in the summer. She'll also throw garbage bags outside her door willy-nilly to the point where they're blocking the door to MY apartment. I have reached out to management COUNTLESS times with photo documentation and pleas to resolve this issue - their only response is "oh we'll talk to her." When I reached out to the manager DeWayne about this as well recently, he acted all excited about working to evict this tenant for her behavior, but of course then went radio silent when I asked for updates. No apartment complex charging as much as they do for rent should be allowed to let any tenant behave this way, and the face that ZERO action has been taken in 1.5 years is deplorable.

If I wasn't having to move for a new job I'd surely stay another year! This is a safe, quiet apartment complex with beautiful apartments and easy access to White Rock Lake. Lots of young adults and families live here, so definitely very friendly vibes. One of the best places I've lived so far and I'm sad to go!

I absolutely love the Lakewood Flats community. It's located right on the White Rock Lake trail system with lots of other local restaurants and access nearby. The townhome we live in has beautifully maintained trees, shrubs, and flowers outside which make it feel extra homey. Our service requests are always promptly responded to and resolved in a timely manner, and we love the amenities LF offers like the pools and fitness center. Truly so glad to call this place home!
