Beautifully kept hotel. We were greeted by Jerry who was SO friendly and went above and beyond to inform us about places to eat and best way to navigate to the concert we were going to! Even took our picture as we left to the concert. He made this review! We were sad to miss him when we checked out. The room was bigger and more cozy than we expected! Breakfast was great, fresh and tasty! Will definitely stay here again in the future!

My truck was stolen from the front row parking right outside the front entry doors. Stay here at your own risk. The receptionist was in the kitchen having a less than savory conversation with the breakfast attendant (yes, I can understand a few words of Spanish) when I discovered my truck was missing and tried to find someone at the reception area. Attempts to contact customer service and reach an operator I can hear and understand have so far been unfruitful. About the actual stay. Check in was fine. The first room I was given had a foul smell. When I returned to the front desk, I was promptly assigned a new room. The new room was in order and comfortably appointed. Breakfast was an exercise in mediocrity the two out three mornings I went down for breakfast. Check out was uneventful. This trip was primarily a business trip with the intention of also visiting a few friends in the area and then going on after my training class to have a few more days of travel and leisure. All of these plans came to halt with the loss suffered while staying here. I had hoped Hilton would contact me back after approaching them through internal channels but haven't had any luck so far.

The first room we got didn’t flush and we went down to request another room. We got another room assigned after about 15mins wait. The bathroom sink could use more cleaning as there was hair and dirt stuck in the corners of the sink in both rooms we got. The halls and elevator stink so mid would be great if they deodorize. I like the hot breakfast, waffles are great! Location is also good as it’s close to a lot of things. Overall not a terrible experience.

We are Hilton Honors members and always stay at Hampton Inns. The rooms are pleasant, we get a nice breakfast, but most importantly, the hotel staff is usually wonderful, friendly, and accommodating. Unfortunately, I can't say that about our recent stay at Dallas East. The positive...the room was large, very comfortable, and clean. The negative...no decaf coffee, even after we asked. There was no room cleaning service...this may be a Covid thing. We had to ask every day for the room to be made up and clean towels. They never changed the sheets and we were there four nights. By day three, we needed to remake the bed. The staff just pulled the covers up. One towel each. I had to go down to the front desk every day to ask for additional towels. But my biggest complaint was the staff's attitude. We asked for decaf and they said no one drinks it and it's too expensive, sorry. One front desk person told me I could get it at McDonalds or 7-Eleven. I asked for additional towels. That got me a big sigh as she walked to an adjacent room to get them and then threw them on the counter. No one was ever behind the desk. You had to call out or go on a search mission to find someone... even at 9:30 am when we were checking out. No smiles. No pleasantries. No friendliness. This was a no-tel motel experience... not the usual Hilton experience. We have family in the area and this was the most convenient hotel to stay at while visiting them. Honestly, there's a Holiday Inn Express two doors down. I won't be back.
