In kind of a rough area. Older hotel, first floor is partially underground. The place was a bit musty smelling. Room could use some servicing. Basic breakfast in the morning. It was located in a convenient area for our stop, and only stayed one night. While trying to sleep we could here someone getting yelled at to get out of the pool, yelling went on for a while. Would only do again in a pinch.

Positive: I did not like anything about it . This had to be the worst hotel experience I have ever had . I arrived late on first day and upon arrival staff member was rude, hotel was dirty and outdated . The staff was unfriendly rude and judgemental. Stay away. Negative: I did not like anything about the hotel . The pool was dirty , the food was nasty hotel was dirty and ceiling falling . Furniture and entire hotel was outdated . Was rudely kicked out for playing music without warning . Felt discriminated against.

Positive: Nothing . Negative: Everything!! The elevator was broken. My room was on the 4th floor . So my stay consist of walking up 4 flights of stairs. No room service Another Guest told me that someone stole his catalytic converter his first night there. Go elsewhere¿

Overall had a decent stay, staff was nice, but why call people 30 mins after they're in their room and then ask if they'd like a different room, no I just drove 8 hours. Took my shoes off no I dont want to move now, if you knew the room was sufficient don't put people in it. The earplugs they give you in the room. Use them, they're like extra strength lol and work really well. You'll need them. The curtain didn't fit the window. It was about 7 inches too short. So had to stack pillows on the a.c to block the light. You get internet in the hallway, but not in your room at all whatsoever. It doesn't even pull up. Breakfast was good. Clean hotel. Clean rooms. Spacious rooms .I like the layout. Tiny tiny TV for such a big room. Half updated half old. If you're headed south take the exit before not the one GPS tells you to take. You'll miss the entrance. The staff was nice but didn't seem to have a decent understanding on how to explain that the first floor is actually the 2nd ffloor. She stumbled all over her words differently with each person. And even though she says a bunch of stuff she doesn't let them know or direct them to a side door. Or other entrance from parking. She's basically park way down. In the valley and truck back up the hill then we will explain more about how to get back to your car.

Not all rooms have them so you should make sure to ask ahead of time for a room with a microwave and fridge to make sure you get one.

There is a room service company that delivers to the hotel as room service...nice selection.
Yes. As far as I know all La Quinta's welcome dogs up to 30 lbs. I don't know about other types of pets. Update. I found a La Quinta in Plano TX that will not take dogs.
