It was an okay community for the price for 2020 and 2021 years, but they raised their prices to the point where it is not worth living there. Staff is friendly but they cannot do more than what they are told to do. The units have mold, humidity problems and leaking problem. The sinks are old and peeling. Their vents are falling apart. The major appliances are old and breaking down. For their current prices you will find better options everywhere. I would not recommend living here for this upcoming year.

I am currently living at UC denton and have lived here since fall 2020. I am about to move out and wanted to leave a review because they stopped caring. Five times I’ve come home to random renovators making tons of noise, our floor has been pulling up, the pool was only open for one month in the last 22 that I've been here, and worst is how rude the management is. The management, not the lower employees, have been either completely unresponsive or bluntly and uncaringly rude. Lived here because of the price and location, it was NOT worth the trade. Zero Stars

I can't recommend living at UC Denton, although it is close to campus. Management is pretty relaxed, complimentary wifi speeds were pretty good and the location is nice, but that's where good things end. Pest issues (roaches, gnats, ants, earwigs) were constant, with roaches and gnats always returning regardless of how many times you had pest control visit your apartment. Both units I stayed in were extremely dirty, and every appliance you can think of had issues from day one. Our dryer took three cycles to get clothes dry, the microwave always seemed to cook on low power, the stovetop and oven would smoke up every time we cooked something so we'd have to open all doors/windows in the apartment to keep it aired out, and our fridge had serious leaking issues to the point where I had to leave a catch-cup for water dripping the entire time I lived here. Outlets in our kitchen constantly went out. Even with a mattress-topper, the mattress you get in your bedroom is disgusting and uncomfortable to sleep on. Birds moved into the fan vents for my bathroom. The windows leaked when it rained, and our hot water heater shook our entire apartment whenever it was on. Furniture was torn up and damaged upon arrival and never got replaced by management (so plan on bringing your own furniture). When it got super cold outside, insulation in the apartment did next to nothing. Even with the heater on, my bedroom would drop to 50 degrees when it got really cold outside, to the point where I had to sleep on the couch in the living room. If you're looking for student apartments near UNT, I'd recommend checking out as many options as possible and weighing their pros and cons. UC Denton is extremely close to campus and has a UNT bus stop at the front of the complex, and their mail room service is a really nice feature. I'm sure there are worse options for student apartments, but I can't recommend this place considering how expensive their sub-par units are.

The apartments here are just disgusting. During my stay I called maintenance at least 20 times to fix the toilets that barely flush, the drains that clog instany, the AC units that flood my floors, the cabinets falling off the walls and the holes that bugs used to get inside. They never did fix my toilet or the cabinets. I suffered through FIVE infestations from roaches, ants, and silverfish. I woke up one morning being chewed alive by hundreds of ants that crawled through my window sill and into my bed, then when I called they asked me if "tomorrow was fine". That should say enough. The apartments themselves are nice, but the appliances are filthy. Every single time I cooked with the oven it would set off my alarm. To top it all off, these apartments are super dusty. I left for my parents place for two weeks then came back to piles of dust on my counters and the tops of my fans. I recommend looking elsewhere for housing. It costs WAY too much money to love in this dump.

UC Denton does allow up to two pets per apartment! The pet deposit is $400, half of which is refundable (or pays for damages). Yes, they can split up the payment plan for you.
