We have had an incredible experience so far. The desk staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful, all staff and maintenance are outgoing and happy to help, and the area is cleaned consistently. The maintenance staff especially have been quick to respond to our requests, all of which have been minor non-emergency requests, and ensure that you are satisfied with the work. The delivery notification and safety (calling for perishables, signing for packages) makes us feel much more at-ease. It is an incredible improvement from our last apartment building and we are very comfortable and happy here.

I have very positive experience with this property for three years and had to move out due to job changes. Here is why I am giving a five star: 1. Leasing management team: Shout-out to the property management team of Victor and Chloe. They are very responsive and are willing to accommodate your needs at their best. Even after I left, they helped out promptly when my new apartment application needed them to verify my rental history with Chestnut Place. Wendy who used to work prior to Victor and Chloe was also very friendly. In general the leasing management office here has very good customer service. 2. Prime location: It's a hidden-gem at Gold Coast. And it's close to a nice and little dog friendly park. During summer occasionally people play piano in there. You can walk to the Magnificent Mile shopping area in 5-10 minutes. It's also very close to the Loyola University downtown campus if you study there. There is a very nice French restaurant nearby. 3. Building and apartment maintenance: Very responsive and dedicated. Another shout-out to the maintenance team! I've seen how hard they work every day. 4. Amenities: Spacious public amenities space at the second floor. They got a decent size of conference room at first-come first serve (you can also reserve it with the management office). Very nice set-up gym and the patio along with grills is right outside of the gym. Workout plus foodie time? I see why not. I also enjoy their nice and clean coffee and pool table area. Also another open space with comfy sofa and a big TV to relax. The kitchen area is available for event booking. Sometimes they may have free resident kitchen learning events depending upon availability. Thanks for reading my review. It's long and that's because I love this place so much. Keep up the good work Chestnut Place!

I came for a year and stayed for 6. The location is superb, the amenities are of upscale condo quality. So often rental buildings feel like frat houses or dorms. This building is completely different. The in apt amenities are high end. Views are breath taking no matter which side of the building you live on. The staff… I just can’t say enough. They bend over backwards to accommodate and to make this feel like your home. They are your family. The maintenance staff are prompt, thorough, polite and delightful humans willing to go above snd beyond. Victor, Chloe and Maria truly take their jobs to the highest level always thinking ahead to what will make the residents stay a more enjoyable experience.
