These people are only trying to fill apartments. They entice you with free rent or a tv or something to get you to rent. However, once you are there, they do not care about you. No incentive to stay and their rent increases each year are outrageous. And they definitely screw you on your deposit when its time to move out. Beware... it only gets worse from the day you move in. I recommend finding another company besides Seldon!!!

Spent 2 years in 2 apartments at Torello. Wonderful place and great community. They have been updating all the apartments and are reasonably priced for any of the options they have available. They constantly are sending updates or reminders about things or changes to the apartments. (Snow removal, etc) They would show up in a timely manner for service requests and were nice enough to call me before entering the apartment to ensure my daughter wouldn't be woken up during a nap or while feeding. They would do a few events throughout the year and was very pet friendly. Enjoyed the last 2 years I appreciate it Torello!

I wrote a review a few months back about living here. It was an honest review of what I thought the pros and cons were, however mostly negative, since the review was made there has been significant attempts to turn the recent reviews around. I wanted to do them the justice of someone seeing that they really are trying to make this a better place to live as they transitioned from old management, remodeling, etc. Before, we didn’t feel taken care of, the lawns were trashed and the maintenance was slow or a no show. However, they have a new maintenance guy who is the nicest, who is always caring for people, and who actually shows up. My sister and I were carrying a huge box down the steps one day and he jumped right in and carried it to our car for us. He’s concerned for the people who live here and he makes us a priority - I can’t stress how important it is to feel this way in the apartments you live in. Maintenance was my biggest con about the apartment, now it is being turned around. He is awesome, and does incredible for being one of the only ones I see on the job. The staff is super friendly, they always are kind when they see you and want to be as helpful as possible. There was a new manager hired a few months ago who makes people actually feel liked and wanted here. Packages have now gone from being free for grabs in the inside doors to now being safely locked in lockers like you see with amazon locations with a code to retrieve them. I love this - it makes me feel way more secure after having previously lost packages. Overall, I’m proud of torello and how they have made a hard turn in the right direction. Still on the journey, but I enjoy living here whereas before i didn’t as much.

UPDATE: I hope you don't have a maintenance emergency while you're away. Twice now I've submitted work orders and have gotten a call from the maintenance team telling me their master key doesn't unlock my unit. I cannot believe how mismanaged this apartment complex is. Especially for the amount that you're paying in rent. How management handles service requests is less than satisfying. I've been attempting to get my air conditioning unit fixed all week and have yet to hear anything from management after submitting work orders and phone calls. Would not recommend.

No, it is not. They also will not accept packages for tenants. This is very inconvenient, and very challenging for someone like me that is disabled. I cannot jump in my car and drive to FedEx to retrieve any packages. I've already had packages sent back because I didn't receive notification about the delivery. This is the first apartment complex I've ever lived in that will not accept packages for tenants. While this is a major inconvenience to me...it may not be for other tenants.
