It's a place to do a little walk around. There's a museum inside with some fine and contemporary works of art. All this for a $10.00 entrance fee. In addition to that there's a great statue inside on the 2nd level to wonder at.

A cool life-size replica. The artwork inside, especially the statue of Athena holding Nike, is worth seeing. I love that it's all located right in Centennial Park as well. Makes for a nice opportunity to relax and get a little culture all at once.
I ended up searching Google on the phone. Didn't like the choices cnearby and went to McNamara's Irish Pub & Restaurant about a 20 min drive from there, near the airport. It was FABULOUS!
Not outside. You can still enjoy the Parthenon without going inside. If you want to go inside you have to wear a mask bcuz all religions can catch covid and if u can't breathe with a mask u definitely won't breathe at all when you catch covid. Be safe.
I didn't see any animals inside but right outside it's a nice size park but if you've never been there you should check it out its something iv never seen before
Yes, it is a piece of history that is beautiful!!! If you don't want to go inside, observing from the outside & reading about the history so you understands this is OK too!! It really is something to see if you have time.
I would say an hour and a half. It's not that big inside. They'll have art exhibitions from locals, paintings, story about the real Parthenon in Greece and the main attraction, the huge statue of Athena. It's the tallest indoor statue in the U.S. and its covered in gold.
I just tried finding you an answer. I did find out that event starts at 5:30 pm, so there's a good chance the Parthenon will be open earlier that day. I just went there last week. It was pretty cool.
$6.00 for adults and $4.00 for children. The guided tours occur on the first floor. On the second floor where the statue is located, you are mostly on your own. No photos are allowed on the ground floor. Take as many photos as you like upstairs.
There is a parking lot adjacent to the parthenon. There are several other parking lots within the park. If the lots are full there is on street parking surrounding the park.
The upstairs is free where the statue of Athena and other artifacts are. The basement has both permanent and rotating art exhibits and there is an admission charge for that.
It's a site seeing location, you go inside and they have lots of art work and a few antique pieces here and there and some statues as well, there is a massive statue upstairs of Athena it's beautiful!definitely worth a visit
For decades, there were more colleges and universities in Nashville than in any other city in America. In an early attempt at branding, Nashville was known as the Athens (Greece ) of the South, because of all of this higher education and learning. This was way before country music was even invented. In the 1890s, there was a world's fair in Nashville and a temporary Parthenon was constructed for that and the building was so popular, a permanent version replaced it.
